Market value has nothing to do with fans expectations. If a team decides on a franchise QB, they sign him to a salary accordingly. Daks salary is behind a bunch of players.
Salary is what people cling to to fit their narrative. It's kind of lazy considering how much a player actually takes home.

Our offense this era has an excellent record when Elliott rushes for a 100 yards or more. Something like 40-4.

But I doubt we are winning many games when our defense gives up 200 yards rushing.

To add: When GB needed to, they could pass downfield at ease. Our safeties looked awful.

These games are when a tough RB like Elliot can close it. But when your Offense has the lead and still wants to sling it down field it just gives it back on our Defense that was just horrible..

We need to get a monster in the middle to stuff the middle. We will have to bring our safeties up and sell out.

I keep telling everyone these are not the Dallas Cowboys. They are the Arlington Jonesboys known to blow leads, get ran over, have the owner as GM, GM as defacto Head coach, no leadership at head coach position, country club team memberships, nothing earned, and dumbo GM personnel moves.

Every loss can, the take away from this game (Hopefully a 1 off this year) is that against a struggling offensive team with a middle pack defense This years Cowboys team should win that game if they have a 14 point lead in the 4th...Defense wet the bed, if this was a team where we expected the offense to lead the way like in years past THEN it looks worse for our offense...so yeah full team loss but the optics of how it went down look horrible for the defense against that team.
