if he was to be the saviour of the Defense and DL, then we are in worse trouble than I thought.Yeah but keep in mind that Trysten Hill missed most of the season.

What's funny is he likes and praises Jabril Cox.But why start off on the negative side with any drafted player, especially the 1st pick? Because they didn't get your guy?
I didn't like the Charleton pick but I at least waited to see if I might be wrong about him.
Id say it's fair that we are going to need defensive production from unexpected places.
Realistically a couple of these new guys are gonna work out, and a good few of them will not.
We will be better because being worse doesn't seem possible.
Problem with him is he is paid like a sack guy, so people expect sacks from him that never happen. He is an excellent player, but sacks are the cornerstone stat for a DE. You dont get fumbles and loss of yards on pressures. One sack pretty much kills a drive. A pressure just rushes the QB. Huge, huge difference.

A lot depends on the tempo of games and what the offense can and can't do....and how much we are going to ask of this defense. No, I dont see how we are worse unless we get injuries. I think they did enough to definitely improve the run defense. Which was definitely the #1 priority. But if we cant get a push up the middle the defense will struggle again.
"Full Kool Aid" would see this team is now much better than it finished last season.Ahh come on man.
I'm going full Kool Aid.
Come with.....great things await!

I still like the idea of trying to control the ball on the ground in order to keep the defense on the sidelines as long as possible....but there's just no way that's going to happen. I realize that.
I see you didn’t dispute the Eagles suck comment. Don’t get all mad man I’m just messing with you.Im not paying enough attention to the Eagles is the reason I’m not paying enough attention to the Cowboys? What?
I don’t know how you do it Risen. You mentioned Confederations, American, and Natives in one complete sentence. Impressive to say the least and it wasn’t the least bit offensiveThatta boy. Don't take his crap. The Confederation of American Natives are behind you.
There are five teams with worse defensive lines?

Yeah they can only go up but I really do think a whole year with Gregory should do wonders. I think second year Gallimore will be a huge improvement too. I like the line. I wish we had a Aaron Donald on it but if the starters are Gallimore, Lawrence, Gregory and Urban/Hill week 1 of the season? I like the potential.i agree with u ithink there defense will be better this year i dont know how much but i think there will quite a bit o f improvement

Only thing they have really done that has a chance to make a difference is Urban and they drafted Osa with a 3rd round pick. Thats not a whole lot. We can only hope that Gregory is better with a full offseason and Gallimore makes a jump in his 2nd season.
Parsons blitzing off the edge and up the middle should help some on passing downs.
Per PFF based on 2020? That has nothing to do with the current defense. There has just been too large of a turnover for this team to be labeled by what they did a year ago.
Thats a rather sobering question my friend. There are five teams with worse defensive lines?
So do you like it when somebody randomly drops some fecal matter on your banana split while your not paying attention?Let me set the record straight. No one knows what Parsons' future holds. At this point, I have no right to call him a bust anymore than anyone else has to call him a boom. I think that is an honest statement. I hold him in no higher or lower regard than any other rookie on this team. As for my support, he'll get it once he's earned it in the regular season. That is my prerogative.
But that's not nothing to whiff about. Urban is a huge upgrade from what they had last year. Tristen Hill missed most of the season so who knows what he has to offer. Basham was a solid pick up. Gregory should be year with a training camp finally. They should improve on 27th......
Let's also remember that this defensive line wasn't bad until Nolan got hold of it. Two seasons ago they weren't nearly as bad.
I mean if you only like Urban then yeah you wouldn't think much of what they brought in.My comment was about what the Cowboys brought in. I already mentioned Urban. Basham does little for me.
I agree that if there is improvement, it will come from guys already here.
