One of those "in case we don't get what we want in the draft" kind of guys.

Dallas usually makes a few moves to help fill needs prior to the Draft. Freeing up options for more flexability while choosing picks is a good idea, but OG is the deepest position in this years class.

Maybe this is a sign that points to taking OG late.

I think it is a way to help avoid reaching but I agree that Dallas likely will select an OG at some point in the draft

He is a beast when healthy. I would love to have him here.

Still can't believe we could have drafted him instead of Bobby Carpenter.

But I'm not sure he has much tread left on the tire at this point. Guess it doesn't hurt to look.

I think it is an absolute must that Dallas needs 1 guard and 1 center/guard. Draft 2 or sign a FA and get 1 or 2 more in the draft. This Joseph gentleman, if healthy would be a nice piece and give the Cowboys the chance to truly go BPA the entire draft.

I agree but then as we know you can't always get everything you want within a draft. Like you I hope we can add though the draft. As for Joseph if he can show enough during these workouts I don't see any reason why he should not be part of the 80 man roster you go to camp with. Worse case he can't do the job best case you get a good OL player for a cheap price.

I wouldn't mind him, but still draft a G if there. Eve if in the later rounds, someone to sit and learn for a year if need be.

This is the kind of signing I hope we make. We seriously have next to nothing at Guard, outside of Bernie and Leary. This is a huge need for this team IMO.

Im all for signing him if he is even serviceable. Glad that the Cowboys are at least doing something about the oline and dline in free agency.

If the staff is impressed enough with his workout, he might at least merit a backup role. So much depends upon his state of health.

he should have 3, maybe 4 years of very good production left in him. Anymore that is about all you should expect of any FA you get.

Leary- you don't know how good he can get or for how long with that knee

Bernie can be very good and very bad and you don't know from one game to the next which one will show up
