Cowboys working out 4 players

Well, I think the thinking would be that Romo coming out of the booth still would be about as effective as most backup quarterbacks and certainly more than Moore. Not saying I care for the plan.

Yeah, I don't think it ever was a plan, to be honest -- just wishful thinking on the part of many fans. Romo has moved on.

Wut?

So if (heaven forbid) Dak goes down for a couple games in weeks, say, 13 and 14, that position is irrelevant?

Crazy that people don't get this. They think back-up QB is only for season ending injuires? A few games can mean the difference between the postseason and sitting at home.

Safeties Jerome Johnson and Duke Williams

boy guess the back field is not working out

Maybe not, but I don't think it is out of the question for Dallas to try to lure him out of the booth if something were to happen to Prescott. The question marks are really on Romo's end.

Even if Romo were to succumb to temptation, which is doubtful, he'd be obliged to get ready in a hurry.

It wouldn't likely happen expeditiously. I think it's just something that some fans are inclined to wish for.

I'm betting that the Dallas staff is totally aware of the time it would require for Romo to prepare for that.

Moore is fine. They aren't looking to replace him. They're looking at the 3rd and 4th spots for camp. If they can improve there they will.
