Miami, Washington, Houston, Chicago, Jacksonville, New York, Philly. All have Back-ups who could win a few games off the top of my head.
Moore threw for 400 yards in one of his few starts. He's comparable to any of those blowhards.
Matt Moore, Colt McCoy, Brandon Weeden, Mark Sanchez.......
Are you serious?
Moore is comparable to any of those losers.

He's also never won a game despite having a great roster.
Kellen Moore is not the backup quarterback. If Dak gets seriously hurt, the backup quarterback will be sitting next to Jim Nantz.
If you believe that, OK. You think Romo is going to come back for three games if Dak is not out for the season?
Yes it's curiousSafeties Jerome Johnson and Duke Williams
boy guess the back field is not working out
Not for three games, but any time before Thanksgiving and if it's a season-ending injury, I think it's a done deal. Stephen all but said it on the season-ticket call.
Meanwhile, Moore will be fine. Last time, he didn't have Zeke, Dez was beat up, and the defense was the worst in NFL history.
Trouty...Moore is a 3rd stringer at best!!
Floaty, if you are the president of the Kellen Moore fan club, sign me up as the VP. I definitely think he can win a game or two if Dak were to go down. Yes, he doesn't have ideal size or arm strength, but he has anticipation and can read defenses and the only person who knows the offensive playbook better is linehan, imo. He's probably good where he is @ for now....And in all honestly....he's really never got a fair shot to show what he can do. That 3 game tryout he had in 2016 was a joke as the team had quit a month earlier. But even then he showed he could move an offense w/ consistancy. He did have 2 mis-reads vs the Jets that was on him. I'm sure the speed of the game probably caught him off guard...since he basically sat on the bench all year. You just can't duplicate live speed in practice. Especially in Dallas ...where the statues quo is 3/4 speed and avoid injury. I still think he is so under-rated. Sure he doesn't have the physical measurables....but you can't measure heart...and knowledge...able to handle pressure. If it wasn't for the freak injury...he may very well be the starting QB now. There wasn't anything Prescott did last year..that Kellen couldn't do...

This is your problem, you are only focused on a season ending injury. It is much more likley that a back-up only needs to play a few games. I want a back-up in the best position to will those games. Most back-up have been starters in the leauge, have experience, and have won games.
The debate wasn't even about Moore vs other back-ups, it was concerning your viewpoint that back-up QB is an irreverent position.

The Triple Hammer
I see him as a 4-5 th stringer. Those are usually found on the practice squad or selling insurance
