rating qb's is rather meaningless.
You never know what type of season each one will have, or what kind of team they will have.

Wow, the quarterback position in the NFL has never been this empty.

Goff wouldn't be in the top 25 two decades ago.

Hurts at six. He shouldn’t be in top ten. The Eagles oline would make Quincy Carter look good. Goff shouldn’t be in the ten hole, maybe the 15 hole. Dak should be in top ten. Anyone who can deal with the overwhelming criticism that comes with being the Cowboys QB, should be given consideration for the top ten. In addition to that, Dak is a solid quarterback who is better than three of the QBs on that list
the moment you said the second place mvp voted qb and superbowl qb isn’t in the top ten but our int leading machine is, you lost credibility

Lawrence is crazy high. He seemed to dink and dunk a lot this year to scrounge up 9 wins. That’s a major improvement projection to put him over Herbert, Allen, Hurts, Rodgers.

I also think Rodgers is too low, he actually had a strong year when taking into account GB’s situation, and nothing indicated he’s not capable of another MVP if he goes somewhere with more talent.

Even If Dak’s interception woes continue next year, you could still make the argument he could slide in at 10 and move Goff to 9; drop Lamar until he can prove to play a full season. Or did Cousins earn that 10th spot?
So glad your Eagirls lost.

No, QBR rating shows Dak 12th and Lawrence 15th. Probably not a surprise some may think Lawrence will improve in his 3rd season while Dak is a known commodity going into his 8th season and likely continue to not be a top 10 QB.
So you rank strictly on QBR?

There’s a big gap after the top 9. His top 9 seem legit. Just need to get reshuffled a bit. If you go more on potential, then the top 5 looks correct. Otherwise, put Allen at 3 until the other guys themselves. Hard to argue with Hurts after what he just proved. And I’d put Rodgers ahead of Stafford. Goff isn’t top 10 but honestly the 10 spot is a tier below. You could make a case for Dak, Carr, Cousins, Watson, Wilson and a few other guys.

You know this place has gone awol when it agrees with cowherd

Naw I mean I expect it from these guys that agree with Cowturd

I know that most Rational Cowboys Fane are of a more measured temperament.

The Rabid Dak haters, I'm trying to institute or Prime directive of sorts, No Communication or interference with the primitive life forms I find in the Galaxy

No, but it is a good indicator. Also take into account intangibles like poise, composure, leadership and results. None of it shows Dak is a top 10 QB.

My top 10
Mahomes
Wilson
Burrows
Rodgers
Herbert

It’s a pretty drop to next 5.
Could be several.
And maybe not most of the rest here.

Once you get past this Top 5 Elite the rest are arguable . 6th -say through 16th aren’t that far apart.

I know Hebert is everyones darling, but his teams haven done nothing. I like him, but he gets too much credit. Allen is simply incredible No way is Hebert above Allen. Allen can beat you with both his legs and his arm and his team was suspect this season.

Allen and burrows are interchangeable. I just really like Burrows. If they every get an Oline over there Mahomes is the only guy with a shot.
And really those 3 are in a league of their own . Mahomes, Wilson and Burrows. Maybe still put Rodgers close at least in talent but looks like his best days are over.

I have to agree while Herbert’s upside looks unlimited , his team needs to make more noise. This was his first playoff game. Time will tell but gosh he has it all.

Nothing says Dak is a top 10 QB. Almost every category he is in the 12-15 range, well except for interceptions where he is #1
And that’s really not a bad place to be ranked.

IMO though once you get past the top 3-5 the drop off is notable. I’m not sure it’s as notable difference from 7-10 or 10-12. Maybe even 12-15.

The top 3-5 are almost not debatable but 6-15 could be very arguable in all sorts of order.

I wouldn't take Goff or Stafford over Dak. I guess I'd take Lawrence because of age, but he did throw four picks in one half of a playoff game.

And I don't think Dak is that good, and believe we should look to get off him. But after Mahomes, Burrow and maybe Allen, there's a huge dropoff.

Yards and TDs, in this instance, aren't that impressive. They don't run the ball....at ALL.

SO anything they do is through the air. They have woefully underperformed for having the "4th" best qb in the league.

The way that people like Cowherd change their criteria for an "elite" qb is comical. Lawrence and Herbert have never done anything. Yet they are 3rd and 4th because they have long hair and big arms lol
So, Dak's passing stats mean nothing. Got it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure the infatuation with Lawrence???. The dude’s awful first half play was a big reason why they were so far down in the 1st half of those comeback games. He’s young, so I guess he’s still got a ton of upside….
