He has become "synonymous" for pointing to the sky. On a pregame\halftime show there was a segment about him and the clips leading up to the interview & the opening part of the interview was about his pointing to the sky. As a tribute to his mother, it seemed odd that was the centerpiece of the segment when she has been gone since 2013. It just felt "scripted". Seems like after a period of time he would decline to speak about it in settings like that and just say it's a private \ personal issue.

Now, I will also say that they may have touched on it also becoming a tribute to his brother which being more recent I could understand. I don't remember that per se but I could have been doing something else and not paying attention to the entire segment.

Well it’s worth nothing Dak has been pointing to the sky before his mother has passed. He started doing it to honor his mother prior to her dying. Now to me seems odd and cruel to honor your mother when living on earth but not in death.

I never started the qb vs qb comparisons on this board. I just bring it up in quarterback comparisons just like they did before.

So if qb vs qb stats worked previously on this board for other quarterbacks.... it should also work for Dak.

I didn't start it, I just rehashed it my boy!! For some reason, the hypocrites don't accept the measuring stick they use on Dak, for other quarterbacks as well.

I do not know what the future will bring in regard to this team or Dak.

But all the people railing on him sure don't either. Pardon me if I think your grousing is a form of temper tantrum. Because no one knows if he can turn this thing around or not.
However, I would love to see the excuses made by those who rant if Dallas were to win it all, and do so because of a record setting defensive performance.
I cannot imagine those so easily chaffing over the current QB would suggest Dak did zero to win the trophy and this game proves the point they have been fomenting over for several years.
