"If you cared about winning you would want Dak gone too"!!
My stalker at it again. You keep that comment pasted on your clipboard. Obsessed over my posts.
However that statement is true. And you know it.

That is not hating on Dak, I want him to succeed. As I am a fan of the team, And hope he proves me and others wrong.
But for now…it is true…..

Actually, to me Dak just has to have good coaches around him. He had to play under Garrett for 4 years, does anybody here think Garrett was a great coach? And that was in Dak's formative years, when he should have been molded and coached into a top qb. Then McCarthy came along, a head coach who only managed only one SB win with Aaron Rodgers as his quarterback, who is widely regarded as one of, if not then top qb, for all of McCarthy's tenure in GB as the head coach, does anybody here think Mike is a great coach, one that can develop young quarterbacks?

A lot of Dak's problems could be lack of proper coaching, maybe not, but just making mention of it...
The whole idea that "what Dak needs" or "what the QB needs to win it all" is incorrect all by itself. Its not the QB's job to win the SB or take his team anywhere. All he can do is lead the offense and score points. And he needs lots of players and coaches around him to do their job in order for him to do that.

It would be more accurate to say............................"what does MM need to win a championship"?

But in THAT light of what Dak would need its either a better team around him, better coaching around him or luck in order for him THAN better QB's like Mahomes, Allen, Burrows, ect.....ect......

Having a top defense really helps and maybe the defense taking the next step can get this team over the hump.

Cant help but notice your constant contradictions on your stances. One minute your blasting Dak saying you want him gone, then acting like you never said it.

Dak has already proven all his detractors wrong. Been doing it for many years.

I was addressing him. You’re known to lie I don’t need you to clarify what he meant. He’s one of the better posters on this site so the fact you have a issue tells me you’re trolling as usual.

You need to watch how you talk to people.

I am not convinced that Dak Prescott can get the job done and lead the Cowboys to a championship. Not at all. But he is going to be the Cowboy starting QB this season and that means I will be hoping for nothing but the best for him and the team. I will be a critic at times but as long as he is our QB but I will not be a mindless detractor. I have posted several times before that the only person who can silence the detractors at this point is Dak himself. It is up to him. He and the team have had chances previously and did not get the job done for whatever reason. Here is hoping it happens this season. Go Cowboys!!!

Since we're stuck with Dak, we must build a killer defense, i.e. '85 Bears, 2000 Ravens, 2002 Bucs. It's possible because we saw glimpses of it when the defense carried the team during the "Rush" games last year.

QB's dont lead teams to championships. Its not the QB's job to win a championship. It is not "up to him".

I also have doubts that THIS cowboys team can win the SB. Its simply NOT good enough. Even if we can get by the NFC we have monsters like KC and the Bengals waiting in the SB.

If getting over the hump is winning a Super Bowl then the Cowboys have only had two QBs in franchise history that have gotten over the hump. Winning a Super Bowl isn’t entirely about the QB. It’s not like the two QBs the Cowboys have had that won Super Bowls had teams with flaws. None of the teams or coaches we’ve had under Dak were as good as the championship teams or coaches we had under Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman.

What did Coop call him after the 49 loss..........and rumor has it Dakko went ballistic.
Coop was on a bus out of town just like Dez in the off-season.
So many have been sacrificed to excuse Jerry's blunder of giving him that contract.
Oh well, what's another circus act at the biggest circus in the NFL????
