CP 3 to LA for Trade *Traded to Los Angeles Clippers*

Kind of seems like sour grapes to me. If the teams were doing something against the rules then Stern should step in.

The 29 owners own the hornets . This killed that teams value

Deal has been killed by the NBA. ****ing BS. :banghead:

This is a fair deal.

After all the offseason hoopla, the NBA can't afford to be seen as favoring the Lakers (or anyone). The league is on shaky ground as it is.

@uuords: just did a quick search, apparently owners vetoed a hornets trade in march: nydn.us/rUBYCO

NBA is a joke and so are the owners that killed it.

Scared people.

Anything to help Lebron get that ring.

Wooooo

Don't get to excited Laker haters. Players union is taking this too the courts. Deal might be delayed, but I still expect it to go through.

Bynum for Dwight straight up? Lol. No way

It's inevitable at this point. LA managed to pull this deal off w/o giving up draft picks, which means they can still deal Bynum plus 2 first round picks (2012 and 2014) for Dwight.

Dwight won't accept a deal to NJ when LA is offering almost the same deal, plus they have Kobe and CP3 as opposed to just Derron Williams.

CP3 isn't a Laker anymore. :(

The deal will go through. It's on hold because a few owners (Mark Cuban likely) are ****** that the Lakers got Paul. It was a good deal for everyone involved and the owners need to get over it.

So if this deal gets axed, any deal for Chris Paul should be, which would be the worse thing for the organization.

What I don't get is how the league can claim the deal would be a conflict of interest but yet they allowed Carl Landry to be traded from NO last year before the trade deadline.

Not to mention that I'm sure they knew NO was shopping CP3 around the last few days. It makes no sense whatsoever. Now Paul says he won't show up for training camp, this is going to get ugly.

I agree bro. This makes the league look really bad and that's being nice and we all know all Stern cares about is his rep.

Chicago and the nets kill a laker deal. If Dwight is that picky(bluffing, remember how tough Carmelo was talking) he can walk and sign for the MLE($5M).

Andrew Bynums grow on trees

Otis is already getting calls about not bending over to the Lakers

:lmao2:

Yeah I'm sure the Magic would want a guy with no offensive game Noah or a guy who can't rebound or defend Lopez.

Bynum and Odom is better than anything NJ or Chicago can offer.

Dwight will be a Laker.

Still waiting for the Noah/Bynum stats.

And I bet lopez's rebounding was near bynums before he lost 30 lbs. Due to mono last year.

Doesn't matter if your deals are better. He is not going to re-sign with either Chicago or NJ. It's Lakers or free agency.
