I see all the push back against a Peerless Price sign as a "slow down" to young WR's playing time.

Will any of that 3 ever catch 95 catches for 1250 yards? There is potential there. But no bona fide fact they can carry a #2 WR role during the regular season. Nothing but potential.

Remember the following names:

Z Smith
Randall Williams
Dev Johnson
Jermaine Copeland
Martay Jenkins
Macy Brooks
E Hervey
W Mcgaritty
S Williams
Ken Yon Rambo
D Chiviarini
Richmond Flowers
Bashir Yamini
Anthony Lucas

And I'm sure I missed a dozen......

You get my point.

Gas that Jet up Jerry!

I'd love for us to pick up Price. I think we could use another vet at WR.

You gotta swithc it a bit. Crayton. Crowder, Copper. If we sign Price, Morgan is probably gone, and Copper gets the 5th WR spot. Crowder will be on the practice squad.

Does Alvin Harper ring a bell?

Great #2, left for a #1 spot, failed and lost all his swagger.

That is the comparison that should be made.

We already have too many #2 WRs, what we need is the potential to be a #1. Price is no closer to that than Crayton.

New England is full of #2's and #3's, but they turn that into good production. The Draft would be a good spot to find that # 1 though

Bum caught what an average of 55 passes in 2 years in Atlanta? From a running QB with no accuracy and an offensive attack geared to the run.

Bums attack Price. Very good football players go 95 catches for 1250. Parcells called him exactly that today at PC!

Lets see Crayton, Copper, Crowder EVER put up numbers 1/3 THAT!

I see you could not rattle off Martay Jenkins NFL resume off the top of your head. Mr Football? What was his career?

Another vagabond scrub that runs through here "as prospect" Wide receiver......

i'm all for signing peerless up. bledsoe has a good feel for what he brings to this offense. four capable receivers playing two different receiver sets - imagine that.

How do you know I can't? I wasn't asked.

I tend to think more about MICHAEL Jenkins than Martay. I mean after all he is a WR for the Falcons who made Price expendable. He was their 1st round pick in 2004 out of Ohio State.

How did I do on being Mr. Football?

I agree with what your saying Nors other than Crayton. I think he's clearly a notch above the other players you mentioned.

I think that was Nors' point.

I cold be wrong but in his 1st preseason game it seems like I remember him catching a short pass then blazing by the defense for a TD then never doing anything after that.
Not sure what AZ sees in Dallas's castoffs over the past few years but they have picked up a lot of clunkers.

Hos - he bounced around a few years in your sand box. Believe he had a major knee injury at some point. We cut him - another wasted Lacewell draft pick.

Before we annoint Crayton, Copper, Crowder think twice. I think of the lot Crayton has most potential. But there is a lot of bloody soldiers who keep charging that hill.

I don't have a problem with bringing in Price. I do have a problem with your reasoning for bringing Price in.

If we continue to bring in guys towards the end of their careers and let these young guys ride the bench, when will you EVER KNOW what the young guys can do? I don't agree with your reasoning.
