Exactly - Price is depth add.
Crayton, Crowder, Copper - make them beat out Price..... If they can't so be it....

I think that is backwards.. Price needs to beat out those three..

For once I agree with Nors. Bringing in Price would be swapping out Morgan (who doesn't seem like he wants to be here anymore anyways). But once again, Nors had to bring in Romo/Henson in a thread completely unrelated to them.

The fact still remains that at this point in their careers Price is no more proven as a #1 receiver than Crayton. We are loaded with #2 WRs, and based on what Houston did to us, we need all the help we can get on special teams.

Crayton has done nothing to prove he's nothing more than a #2, 3 or 4.

95 catches, 1250 yards - yeagh thats not proven during the regular season.....with a real QB. Price sucks.

You go BZ!

I think the question that most against signing Price are missing is, will adding Price make this a better team in terms of depth and talent?

And if your answer is no then maybe you have an agenda you're trying to champion.

I love what Crayton has done so far but if he is as good as many here think then he doesn't have anything to worry about.

good teams are 4 and 5 players deep at WR......

We need to get there. When Glenn went down last year we floundered.

I truly don't understand why the mass accepts satus quo and fights upgrade. Kinda odd......

That was when he had single coverage because the #1 WR, Moulds, was on the other side.

What'd he do in Atlanta when he was the guy?

The same thing Harper did when he left Dallas, zipity-do.

I clearly said that NEITHER have proven they can be a #1 WR. Crayton has yet to have that chance and Price failed miserably.

I wonder where all this support is coming from?

Probably has nothing to do with the trade Ellis for Price thread you came up with awhile back and bumped.

Why do I smell spam?:D

Who said Price was # 1 Blind? He has caught 95, 1250, 9 TD to prove he's a player in this league. He's a serious qualty upgrade to our weak depth at WR. Parcells and Ireland agree with me! He's a great #2 or #3.

Crayton, Copper, Crowder - fringe guys.....

I don't understand why you're now so ready to turn Patrick into the next "Als" or Greg Ellis.

This kid pulled himself up by his bootstraps as a low round pick and beat out his competiton to WIN that third job. Morgan, Smith, Ward, Copper, Williams, Merritt, Rector, Harrell, and anyone else who has been on the practice field trying to shine these past few years.

Not only that, in the three preseason games this summer, he has looked better than BOTH Terry and Key.

You make so much of Tony Romo's 'underdog' status but are so quick to dismiss the much more impressive efforts of a kid who came here after Romo did and who didn't really have a position. He did MORE in LESS time than TR did, Nors.

And if Tony has looked good, Patrick has looked GREAT.

While you continually crow over Tony's beating out Henson, you completely overlook what PC has done, only to say now let him 'compete'.

Well he has competed, and won out, and he will compete again and win out again.

But of course, Price has the 'pedigree', so Patrick's non grata.

No Romo has beaten out Henson in a fair battle.

Price is a 95 catch, 1295 proven player with Bledsoe.
Crayton can battle Price and let better player play - easy

That its to JJ and SJ - Parcells and Irelands want him in. Done deal tomorrow I guess 3:00 EST.

And PC has beaten out many more in fair battles...he is not a freaking 'fringe player, Nors. He is a second year receiver who is making phenomenally fast progress.

Done deal, yeah.

PC is another unproven WR - I LIKE HIM PERSONALLY.........

But we are bringing Price in speaks volumes..... Just like signing Bledsoe.

Time to ramp this team up!

It speaks volumes about Quincy Morgan, Nors...about the 4th receiver he will replace.

All it says about Patrick is he will have to hand Price his arse just as he handed Morgan his.

And he will, because 'unproven' or not, the boy is an overachieve,r not an under like Price.
