As of Kincaid is a consensus top 20 prospect.

I don’t know about the Cowboys board but I could probably come up with 12is guys I’d take over him.
Thre are certainly reputable folks in the industry that think he’s a top 20 prospect. Daniel Jeremiah and PFF has him as top 20 propsct. Now they are not the end all of ratings. I just happen to share their belief in the player. You don’t and that’s fine.

Hey I think he’s a stud. Dude has elite hands and body control for a TE.

My problem is positional value. I’d argue Bijan and Kincaid are 2 of the best prospects in offense in the entire draft but it’s hard for me to take either at 26.

if its te for us in rd1...i hope its the mayer of south bend...notre dame's michael mayer.
he's a problem for opposing defenses and has a great set of hands.
if he's there...i turn in his name and on to rd2.

I prefer Mayer but would be perfectly happy with Kincaid. I think either are first round worthy and I like both more than most of the top WRs. I think I'd also go with either over any of the RBs besides Bijan. We don't need to go playmaker first round necessarily, but we do need one early. Decent odds one of them is there for us and unless there's a defensive guy available we really like, I'd take them.

Mayer reminds me of Witt and is only 21. Having said that Kincaid reminds me of Kelce. The dude just gets open and has moves. Having said that Fergs and Hendershot look really good as well.

I think the Cook trade enhances the chances we draft a TE or RB in round one.

I would personally still go Oline. That’s just me.
First 4 picks will be TE, OL, RB and CB. Not in that order, although I'd say there's a heavy lean to TE in Rd 1.

All of a sudden, the likes of Kincaid, Gibbs look like a good options at 26.

I'd rather Dallas draft tucker kraft in round 3 and get the same production Kincaid will give.

Kincaid at #26 makes more sense to me now.

I’d still have a hard time passing up Flowers if he was available when we pick though.
Agree.

Man if those 2 are available at 26 we’re in a great position. With Flowers all 3 of our best WRs are interchangeable to the slot so that’s be a lot of fun. We’d be taking a major weakness from last year and turning it into one of our best strengths.

Easily the best receiving TE in the draft.

But the Cowboys don’t draft TE’s like him. Slightly undersized and can’t block in line.

They would have to utilize him in the slot and less like a traditional TE. Schultz did see a decent amount of snaps in the slot, but he was also a decent enough blocker to give you snaps in line as well.

Probably not but he should at least be on their radar.

If we continue to draft TEs that can’t run we’ll have that dynamic of being able to stretch the seam…whole different wrinkle to the O.
