what are you going on about? There are hardly any giants fans in the stands at the stadium. The Giants games are always great at the stadium.

Have you ever been to a game? Your entire post sounds like something somebody told you who didn't even know in the first place and you are repeating it.
Why are so many Cowboys fans wearing Giants apparel?

They do, football lovers in NYC/NJ/Philly area usually go to church on Saturday nights.

I was forced to go to church every sunday until I was 18, my workaround as a teenager so I wouldn't miss football was to go to 7:30 mass. Solved all my problems.

I really don't think going to church is what keeps people for the noon games. It just doesn't feel as big and a lot of times people seem to be dragging butt for those noon games.

Once again your equating things that don't add up. Plenty of people go to Church in California and New York.
People in NY only go to church for free grape juice and crackers....and to get coins for the parking meters.

What are you talking about? There are almost no giants fans at the stadium for giants games. The last time I remember there were a fairly large number of them which was still small was 2009 for the stadium opener.

I sit on the visiting side and have been to every giants cowboys game since 03 sans the 06 game. Cowboys fans are always ready to go for the giants, eagles and Commanders. the crowd is loud and into it.

stop repeating stuff you heard from someone else on the internet who didn't know in the first place either.

A lot of folks in Texas go to church; hence, the late arrivals.

Such isn't an issue in California or New York.

Churches need to comply, start earlier, end earlier....or maybe they need to serve beer at the services. So the late arrivals can be fired upped.
A long time ago, I was told that churches would let out early so fans could make it to Texas Stadium.

It is not much different in other stadiums or on TV. The ratings are always in a build through the early games which is why CBS and Fox showcase their marquis games as the late ones.

I actually had a minister that mentioned that every Sunday that we played. He got more Amens to that than anything else.

It definitely used to be. Church, and then Furrs Cafeteria. CouchCoach remembers them days.

I had this feeling that the stadium would be rocking with the start of the regular season, NFC opponent of the Giants.
Return of Tony Romo, Dez, Zekes' debut for real, the OL pounding the GMen into the turf.

But now with Dak at QB, will the crowd be more up and more noise, or will some be like, dang, no Tony, and not be as loud.

Yes I know this will get the normal responses of our home field and all that crap. Save it.
There is some new excitement going on here.
The sound system at Jerry World totally screws up the dynamics of crowd noise. Between plays they crank up the sound system to about 2x the level of the loudest possible crowd noise. Then when they have to turn if off some amount of time before the next play and the noise level goes to half. No crowd in history could complete with that sound system. It totally takes away the feel of the game that you get at college football games. After awhile of suffering though Miley Cyrus and other trash at 200 decibels, you lose your desire to make noise.

Yep but our go to was Royal Tokyo on Greenville. Never was a cafeteria guy, the hairnet thing bothered me. I found a hair on one of those little squares of lime Jell-O and vowed never to return.

Its the Giants. The crowd is always great for Giants games.
I've been to a Monday night Giants game where you could here a pin drop. It was the 2010 collarbone game, but the crowd was NOT loud at all before Romo went down. It was sad.

Sadly, what is going to happen is the crowd will start being loud while we are on OFFENSE. I'm sure there will be a "let's go Dak" chant on our 3rd down.

Yes the music there is to the extreme. It didn't use to be that way, but in the last 2 years it has been. And agree, after that loud crap that gets played, you need a few moments to collect your thoughts.
I sold my PSL's and all the tickets to this years games. Can't say I regret it one bit, but circumstances made that choice to sell an easier one. Don't get me wrong, I loved going to games. But it was time to do this, as I was only getting to 1 or 2 games a year anyway. Spent most the last 5 years out of town anyway. And as I said other circumstances involved also.

stop it. That came definitely was loud. We had two interceptions of Manning in the first quarter and jumped out to a huge lead. It was a Monday night game and the place was ready to go.

Now I know you are a housewife so you were probably very busy with your purse and makeup. Next time pay attention to the game and the crowd.

No, that game was not that loud at all. Nobody in our section ever made any noise. Now, the first game against the giants in 2012 (?), the one where Eli's first pass was picked off by Ware, and we had 6 turnovers on defense, was LOUD.
