Of course they’re not in the hunt. However, unlike you I don’t regret the win over the Steelers. You might be regretting any of the wins we’ve had this season so it moves us closer to the number one overall pick. Sorry, but I’m not that type of fan. I want to see the team win games and improve, rather than continue this miserable season.
You improve by getting better coaching and talent
the win at the steelers did not help in any way towards that goal

You look at the history of RBs taken top five and he is right in there above average for production
The problem is if you look at RB taken in the top 5 you are looking at data from several years ago.

Saquan may be the exception, but only he, Zeke, and Leonard Fournette have been drafted with a top 5 pick the last 10 years.

Bijan, who I love, at 8, may have been rich too.

If only we could change the trajectory of the organization in one off-season. Oh, we could have if we didn't hand out contracts like candy on Halloween.

It wasn't that long ago that Detroit was picking high in the draft and built the team they have today.

I wouldn't sweat the draft order.

This draft is universally considered light at the top, and weak overall. So the guy available at 5 or 8 or 18 is likely to be pretty much the same quality.

We even mess up SUCKING. Our luck that the one year we get a top 10 pick, the draft sucks.

My only hope is that several teams at the top get desperate for QBs, and Travis Hunter slides a bit because of that. We xant afford ANY more wins though if we have any hope of getting him. All true Cowboy fans should be rooting for blowout losses here on out.

Watch us screw up and win tonight.

WE SUCK!!!!!!

I don’t think this will be the last year of us sucking.

With how stacked this draft is I truly worry that we’ll run out the timer and they’ll skip our pick

Cowboys have a very high rate of success with their first round picks. Even trading down and still getting their guy and another player.
Probably should’ve explained myself better. We’re not going to choose the right position more than player.

RBs and DTs are strong in this draft
have not heard if there are any other strong position groups

Ok, cool man. I didn’t ask what kind of fan you were when I noted the Pittsburgh win is probably going to keep us on the outside looking in of a top 5 pick.
