bo jackson was a beast and one of if not the fastest guy ever in the NFL. He ran a 4.16 if memory serves me, Bo was worth a few first round picks in my opinion, Can't speak on Berwanger I wans't even an itch in my grand daddies pants back then.

Quincy Carter, and Russell MAryland. ;)
Maryland is correct.

So we have Troy and Maryland answered. Who is the 3rd and why was the 4th "voided?"

I know someone knows these.

Not arguing that Bo was not a beast- but remember how few years he played. Russel Maryland is the guy I forgot. I think TD was actually a #2.

Too Tall is the 3rd.

Now, why did we qualify for a 4th overall #1 but not get to select overall #1 one year?

No it was not a trade.

expansion?
No sir, but a good guess.

Despite finishing 1960 0-11-1 we picked 13th overall in 1961. That's when we got Bob Lilly though. Don't care where we picked, he was the real deal.

Don't be jealous.

If you were a fan in 1989 (1-15) & 1990, you were around for the answer to this one.

That probably gave it away.

sad part is we had season tickets in '89, I was way too young to really be a fan back then though. 10 year old stealth was too busy staring at the cheerleaders to watch the games.

and if it is steve walsh then I draw a complete blank on how all that worked out

Okay...>Steve Walsh.
Bingo.

Dallas selected him in the 1989 Supplemental Draft which means they gave up their #1 of 1990 for him.

Worked out for the best, we might have taken Blair Thomas instead of Emmitt Smith.

Thank you Steve Walsh.

I think you mean Blair Thomas. Carter was drafted in 1995.
