Cut Joseph Today

He is a wasted pick, he’s a liability in coverage and also now on ST apparently. The fact he was laughing after the fair catch interference call was enough for me. This guy is a knucklehead. Get rid of him. Also. If anyone noticed. His reaction when the ball came out was so delayed. He is just not it. Cut him and show some accountability to the rest of the roster.

Originally I liked the draft pick because his 4.3 40 time showed he had good make up speed but I had no idea he was dumb and has no anticipation.
Can't cut him right now because they need a body but I don't understand why they can't get one of those FAs to replace him completely.

Want to get even more upset? Go look at the list of veteran corners the year Joseph was drafted and what they signed for in FA.

Drafting Joseph was a staff committee decision- a culmination of scouting and selection by McClay, Quinn, McCarthy, Stephen Jones and token final approval by 80 year old Jerry Jones. I am no fan of Jerry even as a figurehead GM but it is stunningly convenient and unfair to state that this was solely a dumb decision by Jerry to draft Joseph.

Is that what you do, fire your coaches if they can’t coach up a very low IQ player that doesn’t learn from their mistakes. You must go through a lot of coaches.

Joseph is very good in press-man coverage. He is very bad in zone because he doesn’t play the area and the QB; he plays the receiver and comes up hard on that first move. He is probably the most physical CB on the team when it comes to tackling and run support. He will be given another chance. They are not cutting him during the season….no chance.

You just said he had the final say, lol- so it WAS a dumb decision by Jerry. You are arguing against yourself, lol. Jerry just loves and can't resist guys with talent, with two cent brains and with red flags about their questionable character - Gregory, Collins, now Joseph.

You can’t cut him now we need the depth in case of injuries. Why can’t some of you get that? We’re already thin at corner as it is. This is at least the second thread with someone wanting Joseph cut immediately.

If we cut every player a fan wanted cut we couldn’t field a 53 man roster
I can’t think of many players on this team that someone hasn’t wanted cut or traded including Micah who is the best player on the roster

Stephen was asked about Joseph during his radio interview after it was decided there would be a competition and he said it takes time for some players to come around if they ever do. He clearly sounded disappointed in Joseph. With the injuries we’ve suffered at corner we have to hang onto him as insurance until the end of the season but why some fans don’t understand that is beyond me.

Stephen was asked about Joseph during his radio interview after it was decided there would be a competition and he said it takes time for some players to come around if they ever do. He clearly sounded disappointed in Joseph. With the injuries we’ve suffered at corner we have to hang onto him as insurance until the end of the season but why some fans don’t understand that is beyond me.

I think all are disappointed in his progress
He may very well be a wasted pick and that’s not a minor blow to your roster. In the cap era draft picks are so valuable because they are cheap and allows you to build rather than buy talent. They won’t ever all work out but we’ve been really good when you think about guys like Bland and Steele
I’m sure he’s on the hot seat and he has one foot out the door but he also has a chance to redeem himself. The ball is in his court

Time is certainly running out for him to redeem himself but who knows maybe he’ll make a play in the playoffs. He may have his work cut out for him making it to training camp next summer.

I’ve already explained it to you. I’ll do it again. They have 2 guys on the roster already better than Joseph at corner.

It’s not that I don’t understand what you are saying and you know what? Maybe I am taking that laugh after a stupid penalty a little too far, but this team has coddled players for years. 27 to be exact. You know what hasn’t happened in that time period?

So why not try something new and show the locker room this isn’t the year to show up unprepared, or flat in the playoffs again because there will be hell to pay if you do.

They need to stop taking stupid risks in the second round. Period. Draft starters not projects. You want to draft a project? Go for it. In the 5th not the 2nd
