He is a wasted pick, he’s a liability in coverage and also now on ST apparently. The fact he was laughing after the fair catch interference call was enough for me. This guy is a knucklehead. Get rid of him. Also. If anyone noticed. His reaction when the ball came out was so delayed. He is just not it. Cut him and show some accountability to the rest of the roster.
Where have you been?
I wanted Joseph cut after he came forward to admit he knew who killed Cameron Ray.
The kid was 20!
Blimey, while the family was mourning Cameron, Joseph was getting ready for camp and being coddled by Jerald.
Cut him. Don't tarnish the star any further by keeping this homicidal thug.

Do you think that they aren’t playing these other guys that just came in on ST? Again. Alexander played better against Philly last week than Joseph has played all season. It’s not about convincing. You seem to keep harping on this injury what ifs thing. They have 2 guys already better at corner than Joseph. The guys been benched already. It’s not experimental to practice special teams with the new guy.

If you believe all this then how come they’re not cutting Joseph? It’s obvious the team doesn’t see it the way you do.

Should’ve cut him the day after his drive by incident. But now they won’t do anything. Hopefully before this coming season it’ll be....
Good riddance punk...

Did you see the way Tennessee QB played? They just picked him up 8 days ago! He played pretty darn well at the toughest position in football. If Tennessee can find a serviceable QB, we should be able to find a serviceable CB on a teams practice squad. We might have already found one. The CB we picked up last week has played as well as Mr. Penalty, Joseph

Tennessee’s QB showed that the Cowboys are screwed in the playoffs. Our defense is going to be toast against Brady or any of the other QBs we might face. We’re not going to get far with this defense especially when Dak is good for at least 2 INT’s almost every week. One INT on him and the other on the receiver. It’s become a troubling theme. If the Cowboys thought they had a serviceable CB and Joseph was expendable they would cut him. The team knows what’s going on better than anyone on this board and they’re keeping Joseph around for a reason. I have as big a problem with Joseph as anyone here, but we’ve gone too far into the season to move on from him now. It’s too late with the playoffs almost here.

If you cut him, whoever we play in the playoffs will sign him to milk information. Just make him inactive the rest of the year.

Lol. My friend. He’s a Jerry pick and a second rounder at that. He isn’t going anywhere. The coaches don’t like him. That’s apparent. Only reason he is still here is his draft position. He’s fast which is great for running straight on special teams. Reminds me of Luis Mendoza from mighty ducks. Skates fast and can’t stop. That’s what yesterdays penalty reminded me of.

You can’t teach a PS corner to run straight and not get a penalty? Lol Jesus Joes

Alexander played better than Joseph has all season in the Philly game. Mullen is a wild card because he was awesome at Clemson and then oddly played in systems and schemes that don’t suit him. I think here he may be something.

Everyone knows he made the team because he was picked relatively high in the second round, and the Cowboys (Jerry) is trying to give him every chance to succeed. Me and many others didn’t think Joseph would even make the team this season. We made a mistake, but it’s too far into the season to move on from him now. We could have moved on earlier in the season like we did with Tristan Hill but we started suffering injuries at corner and the Cowboys were happy with his special teams play. It’s not killing the team to hold onto him as insurance until we finish out the season. It’s not like his playtime hasn’t been reduced.

Or maybe hus coach should be....its easier to find a good coach, than a good player. I always told my coaches that. Coach him up, or you're gone!

Or maybe Joseph just isn’t nfl material.

his coach was a successful DB in the league for like a decade fwiw

Three year rule.

Especially when there is no better alternative and the only reasoning is to send some sort of mythical message.

Give the locker room leaders and the coaches a chance to drill some sense into the talented numbskull. If he doesn't begin to get it next season, then you start thinking about moving on.

Maybe? If you don't know, you shouldn't talk crap!

Me: Joseph needs to show something in the off season because it’ll be his 3rd year and right now he isn’t good.

you: Don’t talk crap!

As of right now he isn’t good. We shall see what season 3 brings.

KJ will be here until his rookie contract expires. Mostly as a gunner, maybe something else if he can get his head right.

Al is a good coach....but, if you can't make a player out of a draft choice...someone needs to be fired. Take that and shut the heck up! You don't know what I do! Go push your pencils! Lol!!!!!

The idea that if a player fails it’s automatically the coaches fault is just stupid. Not all players are good enough to make it in the NFL.

Even the best coaches in NFL history have some players they just can’t “coach up” into being a good player.

That’s just the truth.

No. Don't be emotional. Be rational. He has elite athleticism. There is still time for the light to come on.

I really don't understand the fuss around Joseph either. I've seen ALL of our DBs get beat on a consistent basis some games, except Bland, yet. I still have hope for Joseph, especially if I need to have hope in Wright and others.

Joseph had decent coverage skills, just wasn't good at tracking the ball. Let's coach him up, Harris, DB coach.

I understand and agree with your sentiment, to a point.

But then I remember Bobby Carpenter.....
