Good point. I thought the defense played heroically. We were a couple of players short on defense and needed one play more. That's it. That's all.

I'm not surprised by the meltdown around here. The same fans wanting to cut everyone will be talking about an undefeated season in July.

This is exactly why I'm pissed at the coaches.

Many of us predicted a high scoring game that would be decided by one series or one play. So the 34 pts doesn't shock me. Neither does the nail-biter finish.

What I didn't expect is all the self-inflicted wounds on offense. I predicted 38 pts for the Boys earlier in the week. They reach that if Linehan and Garrett didn't leave their brains on the bye. As bad as the defense was, this team is still headed to its first NFCCG in 20+ years if those two fed Zeke on 3rd down and at the end of the 1st half.

As for NY -- No DRC. No JPP. Cowboys D fully healthy. Jordy Nelson played in WC, not in divisional. Any questions?

(I'd also say that GB held nearly every down of the WC game without being flagged, but that didn't seem to change yesterday).

Stats were quite even. Penalties were big.

Sometimes it just comes down to who has the ball last.

yeah let t-Ro explain our O's slow start, and not getting the ball to elliot more, not running more, the spike, time mgmt,
getting caught with 12 men on the field, butler in the huddle etc etc,
I blame the coaches not our players.
