I was not a fan of cutting dez simpley because it creates a hole to fill when we have so many holes to fill
I have no problem moving on from dez, just thought it was smarter to wait a year, fix the defense this year and address WR next year
This draft has no super star WR prospects
But there are some good #2 types

DWare and Dez are not of the same caliber of player for their respected positions. Dez couldn't hold DWare's shoe laces.

well, he's not really comparing the quality of the player. He's just saying Dallas could have made it work. Whether or not they should have for a guy who had not produced in 3-4 years is irrelevant. They could have made it work....unicorns....leprechauns....fairies.

I didn't think they'd cut him this season. We lost a lot of talent at WR that we're realistically not going to replace. We'll end up using those targets probably more efficiently than we were using them with Dez. I'm torn on how good or bad decision this really was, but I hate to see Dez go.

I think most unbiased people would say no, this move does not make the Cowboys a better team.

I am personally against the move myself, I would not have released Dez 10 days before the draft.
