Pretty good post @DUO_CORE , yet that wholeThese last couple of years, almost every team we faced had an answer for Dez: They would play him physical and he would be a non-factor. This past year, Beasely garnered more attention from defenses than Dez. Dak is not a "throw up a prayer" and hope it's caught QB like Tony was and Dez is no longer a "prayer catcher" like he once was. I actually thought our offense was better when Dez was out with injury.
Add in the injuries starting to pile up and the mental case he seems to be and he just wasn't "the right kind of guy". Unless we find the second coming of Randy Moss or Julio Jones, or Jerry Rice, no receiver is worth 12 million dollars a year: They are but 1/11th of the offense.
" Tony throwing up a prayer" kinda qb is rather irksome to have stumbled across ,The hyperlink speed up in His footballish wheelhouse seemed to always Orient him with near pinpoint accuracy to where those receivers should be if continuing there designed play route after he's been pawed, pulled, hit AnD spun around in a couple 360° whizz-dizzys,,,that wasn't chucking it up down field with a hopeful prayer like ol' #12 would do,,,,oh,no,no,no!
#9 churned thru all that backfield morass of confusion& would come up in a focused& determined set firing position with 100% intent on making those MO-FO's putting the heat on him to PAY DEARLY,,, now, from what I've seen thus far in #4's wheel house, he's got to spend precious time in figuring out once again after pressure just which direction his goal line is in
