All true! Mistakes were made. Every game has bad calls.

That said, the calls were abnormally slanted a certain way.
1)At least 6 holds on our pass rushers weren’t called.
2)The Ticky tacky interference call on Gilmore.
3)The interference not called on the Schoonmaker catch.
The holding call on Schoonmaker was just as bad.

They could call 40 penalties a game. There is a penalty on almost every snap. They don’t call them all and shouldn’t. I don’t believe it’s a conspiracy against us but I do think the shoon catch was a very bad missed call. It wasn’t a play around a bunch of guys that’s hard to see. Refs are human and are gonna make mistakes but that was such an easy call and extremely impactful in the game. That’s so flagrant it has to be called and it was literally right in front of the official
At times i really wonder whats going on with them, like stuff like this is just inexcusable

It was not ticky tacky.. It was horrible.. Not just because the receiver initiated the contact by trying to run through Gilmore but because the ball landed several yards out of bounds.

He's not lying. The Cowboys had 2 penalties in the 1st half and 8 in teh 2nd. I believe 5 came in the 3rd quarter. I really think the league needs to stop giving offenses the green light to hold Parsons.
The Refs penalized the Eagles more yards than Dallas.

Now do touchdown drives extended and touchdowns called back because of the refs for each team. The yards were a result of one VERY OBVIOUS 40 yard pass interference. And even that was only called after they had handed the Eagles a two score lead. Trying to even it up to make it look good doesn't change anything.

More yards against Eagles.

Flags set Dallas up at the 6 yard line on crunch drive.

More yards against Eagles.

I know this won't matter.

More yards against Eagles.

Yes I know...ALL flags against Eagles were obvious, and they should have had 35 to 40 more, like all of our opponents should have. All flags against us were bogus.

More yards against Eagles.

Execute better overall is the theme.
Which assumes that some phantom flag won't rob you of a big play anyway. Schoonmaker executed his route perfectly, got open and caught the ball. The LB just executed his PI tackle better. People keep saying he should have run the route into the end zone. So what's to stop the LB from tackling him that much sooner and not even allowing him to make the catch? Why do we assume that if he runs the route one yard deeper everything else stays the same? That's just not how football works.

Correct. They don't even have to hide it anymore. People are getting dumber, unable to put 2 and 2 together.

They are absolutely trying to keep the scores close. Remember just a few years ago, when a team went up by 3 scores, the game was over. Except for a few miracle finishes, of course. Now, a team goes up by 2 scores, and twwwwwwwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeettttttttttttttttttttt, there go the flags to keep the games close. Extending drives, giving the team that is down a score so everyone keeps watching. It's actually blatantly obvious.

And it's not about counting the number of penalties for each team. All it takes is just 1 or 3 calls at the right time. In this case, just think about how many penalties when into the Eagles last TD drive. Including a PI on an uncatchable ball. The Eagles O was floundering and we were dominating the game, and BLAM, let's give them a TD so we can have an exciting ending. NFL doesn't care who wins, they care about exciting endings. That's what drives up ratings, keeps people watching.
"drives up ratings, keeps people watching." Very valid point on exciting endings, finishes. Higher ratings, fan interest = more $$$ for the NFL.
We need a deeper drive on this but the league's take is, "What problem?"

Two penalties against the Cowboys in the first half.. when they were winning.. Eight penalties in the second half.. when the Eagles got handed the game. Four of the Eagles 10 penalties did not occur until AFTER the refs had handed the game over to the Eagles and given them a two score lead. Pretending the timing of penalties and the points on the field don't matter is asinine. 2 or 3 make up calls after the game is decided does nothing for me. It only placates Cowboy haters..

The no call on Gallup in the Arizona game was in the ball park of that bad.
No the bigger problem with this is it was called it literally was a flag laying on the ground and they picked it up that's what makes it twice as bad because we all saw it the flag was the right thing to do and they pick it up for what reason to this day I don't understand how that was not pass interference twice!

That's not the point, and the idea that good teams go 80-something yards for winning touchdowns with any sense of regularity is nonsense.

You're distilling an entire game's worth of calls/plays into one moment. If Dallas has those 10-14 points, you're not in that situation.
It was the point of the post you responded to. You said teams in the NFL can't overcome bad officiating after he said we could have. Yet we were on the verge of that if not for ourselves, am I right?

So would good teams have taken advantage of 1st and Goal at the 6 with time to run 4 plays or not? I mean, if they execute there, they effectively overcome all the injustice bestowed upon them all game long, right?

THIS is what people are REALLY upset about. The refs are just a convenient target.

Im defending the refs and the NFL.

More yards against the Eagles.

40% more penalty 1st downs given to the Cowboys than the Eagles.

Those are the facts..... but I know it won't matter. Let it sink in. More 1st downs given to Cowboys by refs. More yds deducted by refs from Eagles.

You feel there should have been 35 to 40 flags against Philly....for 300 to 400 yds. Everyone in here does...but how silly when you think about it! You feel that would have been the result of fair officials. Imagine....40 flags against 1 team. That's what you want though...what you think is fair.

More 1st downs and more free yards not enough for you. More yards against Eagles. More 1st downs for Dallas. Let it sink in. Let reality sink in. I know it's easier not to....but it's time.

Cowboys fans are doing it all over the place.

The problem is that it's a dumb thing to say. The Roughing call was suspect but the DPI was clear as day. Dallas was moving the ball anyways.
Moving the ball? The last drive was a 33 PI call, a 10 yard pass with 15 yards added for roughing the passer, then 14 yard pass, 5 yard penalty on eagles and that is as close as they got before dallas false start, sack, pass incomplete, delay of game drove them back.

More yards against Eagles. More 1st downs (40%) handed to Dallas. You want more. Game thread indicates "35 missed Holds against eagles". It's that way EVERY loss we have.

Imagine...an NFL game...where a team is penalized 40 times for 400 yards.

That's what you want...what you think is fair. Opponents: 40 penalties for 400 yds...Dallas 0 penalties for 0 yards. That's what you think is fair.

More yds against Eagles....more 1st downs handed to Dallas. Let it sink in. But you want more...More...MORE.
