i think osa pushes hill off the roster.
I think somebody does.

That DL won't scare any opposition teams...
I'm here for the insults....

Theyll give him the injury excuse. They dont have the balls to cut that scrub.I think Hill pushes Hill off the roster
Im expecting a big surprise from OdiggieI don't think Osi / Golston will be studs
I think that you will have Parsons rushing from all over the field. Sometimes he will line up as a defensive end.I think we will be vastly improved in run defense...but I still don’t see where we improved from the bottom 3rd pass rush team we were last year. Hopefully Quinn is aggressive blitzing a LB often, because I’m not sure if any front 4 we have are going to generate serious pressure alone
Year 3 after an acl tear. He's not doing any kind of jump this year. I dont think that ever happened to a defensive tackle.I know the board is not big on Hill, but this is year 3 for him when most players usually hit their stride. He was showing pretty good promise last year IMO and think he could be a really solid nickel pass rusher...which is valuable into today's NFL even if he was a draft reach.

Will McClay has always preferred players with long arms but Marinelli only cared about 1st step quickness.Big deal to the fans or have fans identified it’s a big deal to the defensive co-ordinator?
I would expect a shift to more of a 1-gap scheme will improve the pass rush. I’m also expecting a full season from Gregory and a bit more out of Gallimore. We have some good blitz options but Quinn historically hasn’t been much of a blitzer.

With regards to Gallimore:It's a valid point and worth considering however I did it this way as I suspect we will be 70% nickel & 5% dime which have four man fronts, that leaves 25% for a 3-4 base defense. It's kind of hidden in some of the comments when I talk about Lawrence playing LEO, Odigi playing LDE, and Bohanna playing NT. Gallimore is the one guy I see playing in four man fronts only but having a big role in it as I mentioned..
3-4 base defense:
LDE: Odigizuwa NT: Bohanna RDE: UrbanAs I mentioned I think Lawrence might play some LEO mixed in with his normal role as a LDE on nickle downs. Odigi could slide into a LDE role, or Urban LDE.

If thats the case Hill is going to need some others to get hurt if he is to make this team. Will McClay has always preferred players with long arms but Marinelli only cared about 1st step quickness.

Also going to be in his fourth system in four seasons if you count UCF.I know the board is not big on Hill, but this is year 3 for him when most players usually hit their stride. Unfortunately he is probably a bit of a victim of circumstance. He is young and needed to right guidance. Jerry's zoo of whims wasn't that.
Classic case of someone who will end up a decent contributor on his second and third teams.
