The movie doesn't disparage Jesus of Nazareth in the least. All it states is that he had <gasp> intercourse with Mary Magdalene and she had his daughter.

Anyone who believes a man lived on Earth for 33 years and remained a virgin is delusional. Clearly he had intercourse, whether it was with Magdalene or not is irrelevant. I would be more shocked to think Jesus didn't have intercourse. He was God made into flesh, therefore he had to be like all men. He could be both human and divine at the same time. If Christ was only divine, then he could not have suffered on the cross. He suffered because he was human and felt pain like the rest of us. As a result, he probably also was like the rest of us in terms of illnesses, injuries, fatigue and sexual desire.

LOL, that is awesome....i always love your posts man !!

It's one thing to say Jesus may have theoretically married and had children... another to say sinned, visiting prostitutes, simply because he was man. He was also God... I think he could resist carousing other temptations of the flesh if need be.

He was here on earth for reasons other than "getting some" so I think making it 33 years without having sex is a pretty realistic possibility.

You think so only because it meshes with your view that Christ was totally holy/divine and you cannot fathom that he had the same desires you have.

However, if I recall correctly, he only discovered his holiness at around 30. It is unrealistic to think he was a virgin at 30 given the time period he grew up in.

Jesus was God in human flesh, He even said "I and the Father are One."

He was preaching in the temple at 12, amazing the religious leaders of the day, so he knew who He was even then, .. prior to being baptized and beginning his ministry at age 30.

He was tempted like you or I, but was without sin, ... so he did not have sex outside of marriage.

Scriptures say not to add to or take anything from the Bible, ...

Rev 22:18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. 19And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.

There is no mention in any of the gospels about him being married, so he wasn't.

Humans have seperated themselves from God by their sin. All humans, you and me.

Jesus came only to save us from our sin, and provide a way for us back to the Father.

Some will accept that gift of salvation, others will not.

Each have to decide for themselves.

I hope you all choose to accept it, eternity is a long time to regret a poor decision.

Since we should not add or take away according to the bible, does that mean the people who did the translastion and decided what should or should not be in there...sinners. :D

Also by the way, you don't have to worry about the book or the movie, as we do not have books or electricity to show movies in West Virginia.:p:

The other day I seen a kid out in stormy weather.

He was flying an old fashioned kite with a key tied to the tail.

Still don't have a clue what he thought he was doing.:p:

Ah, but Adam and Eve had no daughters in the Bible so therefore, how did the human race exist?

You don't know whether or not Jesus of Nazareth had sex outside of marriage anymore than I do. Given the time, it is far more likely he did than did not.

Yes there is the story about him at 12, but it also says he then grew in spirit and manhood (which would include sexually).

The Bible also doesn't say Jesus went to the bathroom, does that mean he didn't? After all, according to you, that cannot be added to his life. See how silly your literalist interpretation is?

Does your view that nothing can be taken from the bible mean that the pope who determined which Gospels would be in the Bible is now facing eternal damnation for deleting the Gospel of Judas, Mary Magdalene, Phillip, Thomas etc?

Gen 5:4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters.

Jesus was God, he didn't think like you or me or anyone else on earth, so he didn't have sex outside of marriage, trust me.

The Pope didn't determine anything.

You bring up about Jesus going to the bathroom, talk about silly.

Never mind, I can see this dialogue is one-sided and going nowhere.
