The parity is already there in FA and the draft - a single position taking up 20% of the cap while defenses and offensive lines (you know, which then get QBs killed....like Luck) is a horrible way to justify what the NFL has become.And that creates parity because they take up such a huge chunk of the cap that you don't have much money to sign other players. It makes all the teams on a More Level Playing field.
Neutering defenses with countless rules and penalties for simply getting physical has been detrimental - but fans want faces to brands and can't handle low scoring games because of tough physical defenses. It's just going to get worse form here, we'll eventually get to the point where QBs throwing 500+ times with single digit INTs and nearly 40 TDs is the absolute norm.
