And that creates parity because they take up such a huge chunk of the cap that you don't have much money to sign other players. It makes all the teams on a More Level Playing field.
The parity is already there in FA and the draft - a single position taking up 20% of the cap while defenses and offensive lines (you know, which then get QBs killed....like Luck) is a horrible way to justify what the NFL has become.

Neutering defenses with countless rules and penalties for simply getting physical has been detrimental - but fans want faces to brands and can't handle low scoring games because of tough physical defenses. It's just going to get worse form here, we'll eventually get to the point where QBs throwing 500+ times with single digit INTs and nearly 40 TDs is the absolute norm.

Empty. meaningless words that we have heard a thousand times over. Tired of hearing him say these things, knowing how he'll refuse to get better next season.
Get ready for it. Dak was a religious huckster in a previous life.

He's going to have an all-pro endorsement season this year. Just wait.

Hey, Dak's a nice guy. He just isn't a leader. He isn't NFL caliber as a quarterback. That doesn't make him a bad guy; it's just the way it is.
The Cowboys need to move on from him and find a true leader at qb, and then they can take the next step. I knew when they got rid of Garrett but kept Dak it would be the same story, because Garrett and Dak are just alike.
I think he is a leader - he is just not a good QB

The nfl with guaranteed salaries is the only place in the business world you still get compensated handsomely despite horrendous performance, We need to go back to quid pro quo pay. You play poorly, you dont get paid pay scale is reduced exponentially. As a psychologist I know if you get compensated for crap you will provide crap. Not rocket science here!

Cooper Rush finished the season with an 80% win percentage and beat two playoff teams.

Dak finished the season with a 64% win percentage and beat four playoff teams.

I’m not sure who had the better year.
“Good Dak” is clearly much better than Cooper Rush. “Bad Dak” can’t fight his way out of a wet paper sack.

Can we see Dak with another offensive mind at OC before we right him off. He's only ever been in the Linehan tree of playcalling, it'd be a lot easier for him if he had a play caller from the Shanahan or Reid trees that actually make it easy for their qbs

In the next three drafts we need to draft his replacement in the first round. If there’s a guy that falls to us you absolutely go get him
