You mean the "team" made the playoffs. We also benefited from a weak division bar this year

Among active QBs only
Have to have been around at least 6 years
Injury year doesn't count

That's it. Elite company. Unless something crazy happens and he misses the playoffs this year, I don't see how the Jones will even think of moving on from him anytime soon.
:lmao:...even Andy Dalton has made more play-off seasons than Dak.

Joe Flacco says, where's my name? No he say's he doesnt care about such a half baked list, nor the HoF, says he's too occupied cleaning his SB Ring.

CowboysZone LOYAL Fan
Whirlwin is pretty strange..... He calls a QB who has been to 4 AFC championship games and 2 super bowls a choker, but thinks 1 playoff win Dak is headed to the hall of fame. It's crazy thinking.

He's a Cowboy fan...stupid like us.

I'm in total
What about the other 52 players? Were they there too, or just Dak?
I'm in total agreement with you. It takes all 52 to win. But in saying that, it takes all 52 to lose. Dak doesn't lose it by himself.

How many AFC championships did he make it to versus Dak's 1 playoff win? If we're going to throw out these stats to prop Dak up you need to tell everyone what it has amounted to. 2 super bowls for Mahomes..... not a damn thing for Dak.
And Dak beat a Seattle team that was well past it's best years in winning his lone playoff game.

This is a small selective analysis’ segment .

For a better analysis I’d list the playoffs percentage per season each starting QB has made the playoffs.

Dak is 50% so far.

I'm finding it hard to even find QBs that played for one team the last 6 years. There are a few. But most don't even qualify.

What is your point? Who cares 1-3 in playoffs … I want playoff success not just making the playoffs. Such a weird thread full of insecurities for Dak lovers.

STOP THE PRESS....Matthew Stafford want's inclusion on the list (or are we not including years when the QB makes the SB)

You're taking this really seriously lol. You're throwing random names out there who aren't even close to qualifying. Matt Ryan and Andy Dalton - both were benched and washed up for 6 years now. And Matthew Stafford who's been around nearly 3 times as long as Dak and has equal the playoff appearances.

Ok you don't care about half baked lists.... sounds like you do lol

What??? Stafford had as many play-off wins this past season as Dak has had appearances. Stafford also made the play-offs in 2011,14 and 16 with the Lions.

Oh I love half-baked lists, its the missing SB winner (but hardly elite) Joe Flacco that doesnt care.

Stafford has been around longer. Anyone who's been around this long and doesn't have career achievements that surpasses someone who's not even 30 probably should retire. What I'm saying is.... Dak has done well for someone who's been around only 6 years - he was injured for another. He hasn't been benched. He's usually always in the playoffs. And remained with the same team. That's usually a sign of consistency.

Now he needs playoff success, for sure.

You either make it or not. Lions sucking or not doesn't mean they make it. Goff lost his job. That's his fault. Stafford had only 1 great year (last year) and now he's back down to the guy he has always been. Brees and Roethlisberger and Smith are retired. You wanna count retired players?
You have to hang onto a starting job. If you were a backup or were benched, it's kinda your own fault or your own Quarterback inabilities. Not seeing how not playing would qualify you.

I'm not saying Dak is elite, btw.
I get it, but my point is kind of proven the team your surrounded with makes a difference. Put Dak on the lions and he doesn’t make the playoffs.
The point I was trying to make is this statement has a lot of statistical bias: selection bias(who all could have qualified, not many due too many confounding variables ie retired, traded, bad teams, time frame:it’s not four out of last five or three out last four, etc. This is survivorship bias and many more. Sorry if I misunderstood as I thought comparing him to Brady and Rodgers put him in some pretty elite category. FYI I wouldnt mind Dak playing like Staffird this year if the Boys got that chip last year;). I just want a super bowl at this point, it’s been too dang long. Don’t care who’s on the team, how it’s done, etc. Heck at this point I’d take just getting to the Super Bowl and I hope I’m alive to see it as tomorrow’s never guaranteed.
