No Jackson was 2019 and 2020. He has only 2, possibly 3. I admit my mistake with Allen and Mahomes. So it's Allen, Mahomes, Rodgers, Brady, and Dak. But whatever.... I'm done here.

Ryan Tannehill.

2016 Playoffs
2017 injured
2018 missed playoffs
2019 playoffs
2020 playoffs
2021 playoffs
2022 most likely playoffs

Please. Lets not try to compare Dak with Rodgers. Dak has what, one or two playoff wins?

Rodgers is an all time great. He's struggled to to get to the Superbowl but he was amazing the year he won it.

going on 13 years ago. Hasn’t sniffed a SB since. Damn he sure is getting a lot of grace off that 1 ancient SB.

Ryan Tannehill.

2016 Playoffs
2017 injured
2018 missed playoffs
2019 playoffs
2020 playoffs
2021 playoffs
2022 most likely playoffs
Lol, I didn't get Tannehill.
@Yobwocs - your presumed conclusion that if you achieved the titled criteria then you must be considered 'elite' due to the company is failing miserably (especially as Dak didn't make the criteria)

Among active QBs only
Have to have been around at least 6 years
Injury year doesn't count

Dak

made playoffs (2016, 2018, 2021, 2022... assuming)
missed playoffs (2017, 2019)
injured (2020)

Rodgers

made playoffs (2016, 2019, 2020, 2021)
missed playoffs (2018, 2022... assuming)
injured (2017)

Brady

made playoffs (2017-2021)
missed playoffs (?.. possibly 2022 but they're still very much in it)

That's it. Elite company. Unless something crazy happens and he misses the playoffs this year, I don't see how the Jones will even think of moving on from him anytime soon.

Yes, Dak is in the same class as Brady and Rodgers, and heck why not add Mahomes in the mix?
In fact, what are the 9 Superbowl rings of the 3 compared to the greatness of Dak????:muttley:

We are truly blessed to have such an amazing talented stud, top gun, and # 1 QB under center!

So let's provide a list from 2016-2021 (since 2022 is only halfway through):

Prescott (2016, 2018, 2021) 1-3 record
Brady (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021) 13-3 record
Mahomes (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021) 8-3 record
Allen (2019, 2020, 2021) 3-3 record
Wilson (2016, 2018, 2019, 2020) 2-4 record
Tannehill (2019, 2020, 2021) 2-3 record
Rodgers (2016, 2019, 2020, 2021) 4-4 record
Roethlisberger (2016, 2017, 2020, 2021) 2-4 record
Jackson (2018, 2019, 2020) 1-3 record
Brees (2017, 2018, 2019, 2020) 3-4 record

So there have actually been 10 quarterbacks since 2016 to make the playoffs at least 3 times so I am not sure why you claim only 3 by predicting the 2022 playoffs in an effort to aide in what is an obvious attempt to elevate Dak.

The fact is that among the 10 quarterbacks listed Dak actually is tied for last with Lamar Jackson for least amount of playoff games and the worst playoff record among the group.....or are you going to say wins and losses are a TEAM effort in spite of creating a thread crediting Dak with playoff appearances?

All that waits is the HOF.
He’s so good he gets his gold jacket while he still is playing Tom Brady will have to wait 5 years after retirement because everyone knows it was the teams that won those SBs and playoff games TB was just a bus driver Dak would of won 20 SBs with those talented teams so why wait Dak gets his gold jacket now.

It’s broadly accepted that the Qb gets too much credit for wins and credit for losing. We all know it’s a team game but one just has to google “X quarterback playoff record or wins and losses” and it pops right up.

just have to simply judge the decisions, and throws from each game to evaluate fairly. When receivers aren’t open it becomes apparent and usually pointed out to those not watching it. If a qb is under duress it also very apparent.

my personal opinion of Rayne this year is, He was awful against the Bucs, average after injury but played well enough against the Lions , and was tremendous against the Bears

inconsistent so far this short sample size but recouping from the injury and improving every quarter……and with no lofty expectations either

I say this with no bias whatsoever……but with extreme caution
I am totally with you on every count.

I just object to this making Dak out to be a playoff guru. Especially when you have to give him 2022 which hasn;t happened yet. It's unbecoming. Embarrassing even.

There’s no doubt he’s the GOAT!

As confirmation - Quick, name 2 others QBs from the AFC East during that 20 years period.
Yes those were all dog teams he beat in the playoffs all those years, our HOF qb has 1 Playoff win in 6 seasons playing in the worst division most years, one and done Dak should be a inspiration to all.

You forget bad OL, terrible WRs, sub par TEs washed up RB, terrible OC and HCs along with all those. Injuries he played with and the low end D’s . Dak single handed placed the teams since 2016 and carried them on his back to the playoffs with all his intangibles, it’s not his fault the other 52 jags let him down in the playoffs he can only do so much. Let’s hope he doesn’t get back problems from the load he’s carried the the last 6 1/2 seasons.

...or a back issue due to all the cash he stole from JJ.

Its somewhat amusing watching the Dak fanboys embarrass themselves.

Dak is a very good QB who is not elite. Now we can win a SB with him; if the stars aline correctly.

Which is pretty much the story of virtually every other SB winner over the years not named Patriots.

Look at the Rams and Stafford; looks like it was a one year run and thats all

Brady is the GOAT.... but he had a historically bad division for 20 years.....
Yeah. But that didn't stop him from dominating the conference in the playoffs his whole career. Dak has been better in the regular season than the playoffs.
