Its amazing how much the NFC East has fallen off. Dallas is pretty lucky to get 4-6 easy wins most years.

These things are cyclical unfortunately. At some point, someone in the east will get their act together but until then, Dallas pretty much has a bye to the divisional crown nowadays.
The East will continue to struggle until another team besides Dallas gets a franchise quarterback. The Eagles ran Wentz out of town and WFT/Giants passed on Herbert in the draft:facepalm:.

Dak at 28 already has equal the division titles Romo has ever had.

Has this only just been discussed?
you mean dak and the Dallas cowboys like zeke etc that OL the defense the coaches umm not just dak or romo..its team game..

BTW the only way dak surpasses the legend of romo is at least an NFCCG appearance. that the place the last 2-3 eras have not done since 96..

Dak is the better QB . I found it interesting someone on another thread trashed Cee Dee and Gallup . You can’t have three D’andre Hopkins or Davante Adams at all there WR slots. The main targets Dak has are plenty to win a SB that’s why on the thread I had on Gallup I think it’s critical keep your top three wideouts for your expensive QB going forward.

Romo and Garrett also had terrible NFC East teams. Remember those 8-8 years? The difference is that Garrett just doesn't know how to win.

Garrett was a terrible coach and most of us figured it out pretty early in his tenure. Romo was a good but not great QB. The defense was usually bad to terrible. What really drove those teams (and now) is the offensive line play. When its great, the team was good. When it wasn't, the team wasn't particularly good.

Good for Dak!

I’m happy to know that along with playing QB,
he coaches,
plays Oline,
WR,
RB,
LB,
DT,
DE,
CB,
S,
and special teams too!

Thats one special player!
He sure is. Cowboys would be the Giants if it weren’t for he.

I like Dak, he's a baller and a good leader, but I'd still take Romo any day of the week. Imagine Romo with a dominant O-Line, coaching and a defense. My, oh my. We've been lucky with Romo and Dak back to back, that's the truth.

Respect this leveled opinion.

I think it’s a toss up, but am thankful that we have had both.

Romo didn’t get teams this strong as a seasoned vet, and that’s a shame.

There might have been a slight difference in difficulty. Let's compare how the rest of the division performed in a comparable time frame.

2006-2011

PHI: 56-39-1
NYG: 57-39
WAS: 37-59

2016-2021

PHI: 49-44-1
NYG: 33-61
WAS: 38-55-1
WFT. LOL!

Romo never had this good of a defense and he was hampered by poor coaches through his career — except for Parcells — one who most certainly should never have been one based on experience alone but got a special exception for family connections. Not to mention some of the worst offensive lines and defenses I’ve ever seen.

Diggs has eleven interceptions alone, the defense has scored six or more TDs not to mention the high amount of turnovers they have caused, special teams have blocked multiple punts and scored TDs, there’s a rookie with 14 sacks, etc.

I’m a fan of both, but Romo cost us a lot of games with his interceptions.

For the ones talking about Dak having better teammates, we had 11 Pro bowlers in 2007 and didn’t win a playoff game. In fact, Romo threw an interception to seal it against the Giants.

Romo also had a pretty good OL, receivers, Hall of Fame tight end and good running backs throughout his career. Let’s not sit up here and act like he played with a bunch of scrubs.

Lastly, Dak has never had a losing season even with the same head coach that Romo had.

Let me reiterate, I was a huge Romo fan and loved him as our QB. I’m not like some of the posters on here who hate on my favorite teams quarterback. Just wanted to put that out there

Lets discuss this team not winning a super bowl in 25 years. Forget about a damn division title.
These super bowls don't grow on trees. In 25 years 5 teams have won more than half of the SB's (15) at least according to my count, but still you get the point and today we have more parity than ever.
