Honestly what is the point of this?

You honestly didn't get his point? I mean, Romo was one tough SOB to play with a punctured lung, broken rib etc.....Like when Tony played against San Fran with a broken rib and won the game?

It sounded like a dig at Romo. Not breaking your collarbone isn't an "ability."You honestly didn't get his point? I mean, Romo was one tough SOB to play with a punctured lung, broken rib etc.....
If anyone questions his drive and toughness they're to be ignored and are complete idiots.
But his availability is what ultimately took him out of the game. The injuries took their toll. It happens.
Not really. Prescott has never missed a single game. His durability is a huge advantage. Look around the league. Very seldom are teams winning with backups. Prescott is more physical and athletic. It sounded like a dig at Romo. Not breaking your collarbone isn't an "ability."
I'm well aware that injuries are what ended his career - but to use it as any comparison to Dak is disingenuous.
Not getting injured isn't an ability, especially when compared to Romo's injuries. Dak isn't a better athlete than Tony was, just a bit of a better runner. Not really. Injuries didn't just end Romo's career, it hurt the team many other times he couldn't start.
Lmao, you Romo love is kinda sad. "just a bit of a better runner." Lol. Mmm K.Not getting injured isn't an ability, especially when compared to Romo's injuries. Dak isn't a better athlete than Tony was, just a bit of a better runner.
Romo's injuries were the results of taking hits that Dak simply never does, not because Dak is so good at not getting hurt (as if that's a skill?). Romo's injuries hurt the team, yes, but it's not like he deserves blame for that.
He is a better runner, Tony didn't do it. But no, Dak's not some vastly superior athlete. In the pocket, Tony is athletic as most anyone other than the pure running QBs.Lmao, you Romo love is kinda sad. "just a bit of a better runner." Lol. Mmm K.
Taking hits and staying healthy is very much an ability.
Next you'll claim Prescott doesn't get tackled as hard......
The point is very simple Tony was a warrior but his body wore out so we could no longer take advantage of his talent because he could not stay on the field . Its nothing against him time catches everyone .Like when Tony played against San Fran with a broken rib and won the game?
Honestly what is the point of this?
The rule changes regarding hitting the QB have changed so much in recent years, it should make it easier for QBs do that going forward.
Meh, Romo missed 3 games total in his first 3 and a half seasons with much weaker rules in terms of protecting the QB. I doubt Dak will stay as healthy as he has so far, dude has been incredibly lucky with a couple of injuries. Not really. Prescott has never missed a single game. His durability is a huge advantage. Some can't except that truth and are making Prescott the punching bag.Why does this Romo stuff continue?......His era did not produce any post season success..... stop with the shoulda coulda woulda nonsense and time to move on......
I feel for him, no one deserves to live with that... But it could be worse? I'm glad he was able to walk away.In a recent article about Romo playing golf. It referenced that Romo still has to do special strength training and rehab for his back, due to all the previous injuries.
Loved Romo. But his back was done. It’s not a knock on him at all to say that. It’s the reality of sports. Nobody beats the clock.
