C'mon Dak, what made you think, they were going to make it easy for you?

MM and him should have known this. Its not rocket science.

If im a coach you think of infinite ways of them trying to beat you, and prepare.
Theres only so much you can do as a coach. McCarthy’s downfall is going to end up being his inability to fix our running game.

Probably because of this statement you made

Houston ran for 76 yards on 3.5 yards per carry vs the Browns. And still managed to run a respectable offense.
he asks a valid question.
Difference there is, Houston had a QB that was capable of dissecting the best defense in football right out of the gate. That's a luxury we don't have. They got up early and were able to commit to the run.

But that goes back to the mentality of the FO and the organization as a whole. They kept asking Jerry on the radio what gives him 'hope' about this specific team, he kept mentioning Dak, Dak, Dak. They thought he could carry the team to the promise land and mask any warts we had elsewhere. They thought wrong.
Well i'll say this he's suppose to. He's suppose to mask the warts. But they 50 points put on them. Them ain't wart that's a straight up disease.......

Problem is you can't do that and pay Dak like a top end QB unless you strike gold on a bunch of draft picks all at once. Corners have to be cut to pay him the elite level bag that he wants. Problem with Dak is, he's good enough to keep us from getting high draft picks, but not good enough to take this team anywhere without those picks.
you may be right but. The draft are going to have to be a whole lot better than they were in 23. at this point you may not be able to get away from Dak but you can still blow it up if thats what you want to do using the resorces that you have that are still desireable. Id trade Micah for picks and maybe martin see what you can get and draft with the end of dak in mind.

evryone raving about this QB draft thats upcoming well lets see. If you are blowing it up whih i pretty sure they wont you can get a good QB at 24

I personally think Caleb Williams is going to flop depending on where he ends up. I like maye ok but what if Pennix is there at 24

This is Jerry here you think hes going to pull the plug on dak? He will be here next year without a doubt and I dont care if he is or isnt but this jerry have you not learned anything?
I said he "needs to" be shown the door.
Not he "will" be shown the door.

unfortunately you are not wrong.
Jerry is who Jerry is. We all know Dak's getting the record deal. Jerry will make sure of it.

Helps to be facing Joe Flacco who gave you 14 points.....

That’s the part that amazes me…”got it going” What? You got a prevent with 2nd Teamers
I mean he's not wrong..the backups weren't int here in the 2nd quarter and that's when the offense started moving somewhat. But yeah the prevent defense certainly helped.

Lol "once we got it going", the score was 48-16 with 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter. The Packers at that point had took out multiple starters on offense and defense, and Dallas scored with 6 minutes left to go in the 4th making 48-22. They didn't get it going, the Packers just let up
2nd time I’ve heard him say throw in that stupid comment. He badly wants the narrative to become about his stat productivity and not the futility of 80% of the game.

At 24 I'd take Pennix and let dak, lance and rookie qb battle it out in camp... I would also trade martin and bland for picks to try and draft LB, DL, OL, RB

48-16 in the fourth quarter.

The playoff losses are getting worse. He knows his limitations (but the organization seemingly doesn’t), so he knows when things are hard to see for him, he starts to feel the pressure and makes mistakes. Dak is what he is: a good QB against bad to average teams; an average to bad QB against good defenses and when the stakes are high come playoff time. Dak is no longer it. He made more than enough money for his skill set thanks to 2016 and the Cowboys.

The Cowboys need to strike gold and hire someone who can evaluate QBs and then have him help draft a quick-thinking, quality QB prospect with enough experience and measurables to get it done.
