But most of the league has to build around a franchise qb who’s less than Elite.

I don't mind this take. It acknowledges Dak is not "elite" because he beat the Jets but it is also hopeful if you put a good team around him he can succeed.

I think he's a headcase beyond repair, but I don't mind this take.

He was 1-3 in 2020 and 3-5 last year.

He was healthy until he wasn’t. Those are losing records while healthy.

When the QB has the 2nd most yards, 3rd highest QBR, and the offense is scoring 30 points a game I would think it’s weird that any blame is going to the QB.

It might seem that I and other Dak critics need to eat Crow given how well Dak is playing now, but all of the criticisms/doubts we had were legitimate.
He hadn't shown that he was a "Force Multiplier" type QB where he would elevate his team despite being short handed. He did struggle in many big game situations and came up small. He did talk a good game but didn't always back it up on the field in crucial games. Him demanding to be the highest paid QB in the NFL when he hadn't proven that he was deserving of $60 Million a year.
Having said all that, this year he isn't proving critics wrong, he's just seems to have elevated his play and worked on overcoming those legitimate criticisms. He is playing at an Elite level and seems to have reached a point similar to Romo where in 2014 things finally began to click and he reached a level where he figured out the game at a high level.
I hope Dak continues on this progression and shows that he has overcome any deficiencies he displayed previously and shows that he has reached Elite status.

Neither have Moutain Molehill's.

If the "strong roster" helped Rush be so much better....did it not do the same for Dak? Have you said as much?

But what were the team records with completed games when Dalton, Rush and Prescott started during the seasons they all played? The answer is almost identical.

You can't be counting the teams record with the best o line and running back in 2016 to a season several years later when Dalton played behind the worst o-line the Cowboys have had in over 10 years. It's irrelevant.

are football teams made up of individual siloed entities or are they a collective that feeds off each other? The defense failed to hold GB to under 40 pts and the offense failed to score when it mattered most. Both of those things can be true at the same time.

Count it however you want . But it doesn’t mean that those backups were better QB’s than Prescott. Too many differentials and circumstances dictated .

Surely if our organization believed Dalton or Cooper were in the best interest long term for success they would have made that decision.

If not then their values would have been enough to receive some major compensation in a trade.
