I suspect that Mike and Brian started looking at what Dak was capable of and they found out real fast that the offense will have to be severely limited.

Not limited, more on the side of changed to suit his capabilities. Which all QBs need.

Garrett was terrible about trying to fit players into what he wanted. IMO, KMo was the same. I'm fascinated as to whether MM can use Dak's strenths better. I think it's happening as we speak, but we'll know soon after the season starts.

Yes, Dak must play better this season than last season, but the offense should be fine if Mike and Brian know what they’re doing.

I‘m actually more interested in seeing if this defense can be as dominant as we’ve built them up to be. Our emphasis on defense in team building in recent years is a wise choice, even over OL depth, but will the defense stop the run? Will they stop the screens and short passes that are coming to avoid out pass rush?

This season, and especially the road games like Sunday night, will depend as much or more on whether we have a dominant, shut down defense or just some great pass rushers who don’t set the edge in the run game while DTs get pushed around. NY with Barkley and Jones as run threats will be a good first game test. If this defense is for real, NY should not score 20 points without help from our offensive turnovers or special teams breakdowns.

I blame the press, really I do. These few 24 hour cable networks, NFL,ESPN,FS1 are there to sell insurance ads so they have to incessantly focus on things to grab peoples immediate interest to not change the channel. Therefore its Jerry and Dak, Jerry and Dak, Jerry and Dak, ad nauseum, 24/7 365. And that focus finds itself in places like this forum too. We hear, we repeat. Since this is the first I’ve heard of this , if someone was to wish him in a plane crash BUT come out uninjured ,is that also an option?…….I just want to have this clarified so we can stay within the parameters of good taste
