I'm with you, time to draft a FIRST ROUND QB and see what happens.I’m out on Prescott. The Cowboys need to be drafting their franchise QB next year with a new head coach.

he's a backup and that is what he was picked to be, don't pretend he's going to be rodgers. well maybe he could be rodgers with accuracy issues, pocket awareness issues and fear. yep just like rodgers.
Dak is too conservative.
I mean it’s good to not have turnovers. But he needs to start airing it out more and either sink or swim.
You have no idea what you are talking about.Dak had success his rookie year because the running game was having a great season, protection was ridiculously good and opposing teams weren’t prepared for him. Ever since teams have had tape on this dude, he’s gotten worse and worse.
Watching him pass is just sad. The guy doesn’t have a NFL arm.
Hell yes! Couldn't agree more! Also, might help the new Left Guard. The kid was getting beat on like a drum
Nah it’s the nfl. Dudes get openHe is probably holding the ball a lot longer because none of the receivers are getting separation.
Jarwin looked pretty "separated" on that wounded duck Dak threw. Dak's failure to step up in the pocket (to allow his linemen to hold their blocks) instead of fading back to San Antonio and throwing off of his back foot is a problem that he better correct if he wants to keep his job. Yeah, Short took Williams lunch money and got pushed into Dak's lap a few times, but not on the Jarwin play and not on a number of others that Dak simply whiffed on.He is probably holding the ball a lot longer because none of the receivers are getting separation.
Without a doubt the running game is a big help, but that doesn't specifically address the point of this thread. Dak was getting rid of the ball more quickly as a rookie, and he is holding the ball a lot longer now.
Anybody this is saying it’s the o-line or receivers need to watch without blinders on.
This tweet illustrates what we have seen from Dak since his rookie year. Perfect pocket and two open receivers in the biggest moment of the game. Both Hurns and Beasley are open. He is just as much to blame for the sacks as the o-line.

The playbook has been completely revamped, so I have no idea what you're talking about. Dak's not executing. The O-line are not blocking, the receivers are not catching. How is that Linehan's fault, let alone Garrett's? Nobody gets a pass including the coaches, but this whole "it's all the coaches fault" narrative is lazy analysis, plain and simple.Until I see Dak in an creative offense where the defense doesn't know what is coming, I will reserve judgement on him. This antiquated offense is not designed to have receivers come open quickly and most times they never come open at all. I'm not apologizing for Dak, but he gets no help from the coaching staff or scheme.
Amen. Add this to stepping up and throwing instead of fading back and throwing off his back foot (which would increase accuracy and velocity of his throws) and he might become the QB we all think he could be. Otherwise, he's a journeyman at best.IMO Dak needs to process and execute faster. Much easier said but still that is his problem.
