See...here's yet another example of where I defend our quarterbacks honor and can't get a single "like" much less recognition of my support of him

Shame on yall.
I was thinking you got plenty in the bank there...but...if you are running low I can lend you one. :)

I WILL NEVER BE UPSET AT A WIN LIKE LAST NIGHT. I maybe nit picking but did anyone notice that danny took off several times during the game because he was under pressure. It was raining and the passing game was not going to be working the same way. But Dak did not take off.

He still wanted to stand tall in the pocket and throw. It’s the first game and it was a rainy day so I will give plenty of slack. I am a Dak supporter but if your looking at the game there is several times he could have tucked and ran with the ball and gained mucho yards. Don’t tell me the injury is still a factor..

Dak is my dude. He needs to look at the film and notice he could have helped his team so much more.
Okay. I'm not a Daniel Jones fan. But let's be real. At some point in that game, he had no choice but to scramble every down. Not a great comparison. LOL

The runs in first drive were part of the gameplan. FYI. That's the only way they moved the ball last year against us.

I cringed on that one run to the left near goal line for Dak. Ugly. Ran right into 3-4 guys. Was expecting another snapped bone.

The Dak to the left on the goal line has become a predictable play. They could use it further away and be successful. But it’s not just the planned plays. Dak will drop back and look for a receiver too long IMO sometimes. Used to hold to long and end up taking a sack. Now he will throw it away or throw it where no one can catch it. When under pressure he has a lane he could take about 5-7 yards and slide and not be touched.

I know danny ran for his life most of the night. Lol. We saw him take what he could get and slide. Dak could be doing the same thing and add that headache to the opposing team. I think teams know he may scramble but wont take off a bunch under pressure. I would like to see them having to use a spy on Dak.

Not something that’s necessary but I am tired of yelling at the tv when he is pressured and has that open field in front of him. I guess the crowd noice is to loud and he can’t seem to hear me.

The Eagle fans that run the forum have made the Cowboy fans so afraid of praising the starting QB that they have to state whether they are a Dak supporter or not before each post.

You are the one that denied a true fact as "false"...in the stat line for anyone to see.

And you lecture me about "emotions" and "adults"?

HILARIOUS! :lmao:
It's not interesting at all it's actually hating literally had some drops in the end zone that would have been on his scoring sheet versus the running backs or the other players.. I'm not gonna get dragged into this debate because I'm telling you right now you're off base you're out of line and anything in hate you're getting right now that I can't read is absolutely warranted and whoever started this thread it's ridiculous yes it starts out with I would never do and then did anyway.. These type of threads should just be deleted immediately because this is where they're gonna end up they're gonna end up locked because I am trying to right now control myself to where I don't get benched because this stuff and the things you're saying the fact that Mister glimmer started this makes me wanna jump through here and do some bad things..

All the blame Prescott gets when we don't score points at all when he's on the field and the interceptions that are not his fault somehow are all his fault but now the team wins Bing and people wanna take credit away from him there are people that literally said Prescott shouldn't get credit for this win at all you know dumb that sounds you know idiotic sports idiotism that that could be classified as 100% haters...

Dude you're so out of line with this whole entire thread and still here talking about it I believe the coaches and the player himself all get to have this discussion during game film but they don't need help figuring this out.. If he needed to run more he would have it absolutely was unnecessary he didn't and it's ridiculous you to point it out and all the other people joining in on this absolutely cover up of a hate thread it's negative no matter how you try to disguise it..

I believe the coaching staff and the player himself understand that if they would have needed him to run more he would have ran more... They do not need a fan base pointing it out these are professionals these people have this is spent a lifetime doing what they do and they will watch film and say hey if we need it , go for it..

These posts started like this are just like people who say preface I don't wanna hurt your feelings or whatever and then they proceed to say the very thing that hurt somebody's feelings

I never gave blame or tried to spin it or criticize him. In FACT...I recommended he play like this more often. We are of course going to need him to do some scoring...and he will. He took what the game gave him and we blasted them.

See this is the problem right here. A simple statement in a stat line...gets spun up from your imagination and just ITCHING to get your hater card out. ULTRA DAK CRUSADER. Makes one nuts. "hating" to cite a true factual stats? How ridiculous. I almost can;t believe we are stooping so low to get the H card out.

I didn't seek out this stat....people here should know I don't spew stats, don't have the brain storage for it...just something I heard, read rather...probably in yahoo feed.

This team scored 40 points (26 by offense?)...without a QB scoring line. You don;t think it's interesting fine. But don't be pulling this crap of twisting it to ridiculous insinuations and assumptions...mkay?

You make some stupid motivation in your head....AGAINST what I said on record... then lecture me about "idiotism".

Sorry dude you've said that same excuse to every person in here that responded in a negative way,

you know why they responded that way because we see through the disguised hate/criticism.
Sorry man, you're not getting out of this,
I already said what I said and I'm gonna say it again you and glimmer man are trying to cover up and anyone else by saying I wish he would do this more but I'm OK what he did but I'm not a hater but he should do this and that more!!
hey you're out of line, they won the game as a team... I don't care about his scoring stats, he literally had two drops in the end zone he had four drops total that would have helped his stats but we're not going to talk about that are we?? Just like we didn't talk about the interception seven of which really were not on him but nobody wanted to hear give excuses well.
we don't wanna hear the opposite of that he was on the team who won and in fact I believe the offense scored around 26 points, he's the leader of that offense and no one back in the day went and broke down troys or Rogers stat lines like they're doing with Prescott right now.....
So, Prescott the leader of the offense he was the quarterback at the time that they scored... that's all that matters he was just as much as part of the scoring as anybody else on that offense... So again, it was a team win there's no nitpicking and cherry picking who should get credit for the points or the win

TEAM effort, team win,

moving on...

I told you I was likely not picking. I have a view from my living room and see something he probably don’t have time to see. I see the open lane when he has nobody open and simply would like him to tuck and run and slide down so he don’t take a shot. They obviously do not want him doing that. The first few years Dak did run more, a lot of designed stuff or if he saw a lane he would take it when the pocket is collapsing. I keep yelling when I see the lane but don’t think he hears me. Lol. Was just a friendly thread to see what others thought. But that’s impossible here without haters or lovers coming out.

Lmao. Don’t drag me into this crap fest. I just made a thread because I saw something I would like to see. Of course it’s a team win and a team game. Most players have elements of their game that could be tweaked to better help the team. And no i do not want to see him take off everytime the wind blows, I am not wanting to see Rush or Lance starting because he is injured.

"Disguised"

How convenient! You cant actually display any real example. Some arbitrary phantom standard you get to make up in your head...because i said something that hurt your feelings.

"Cherry picking"

You have no clue what that means.

I never said he didnt contribute. But there you are....making up the argument in your head.

I will say it yet again....probably the 5th time.....i will take this stat over the 9ers any day all day.
Just a simple stat that you cant live with....one that hurts you.

Mkay. We will just have to live with it....do the best you can.

I made a post wondering if anyone wants him to tuck and run here and there. I don’t know what happened after that. I don’t want him hurt. I am on the Dak train. Just like I was on the Romo train and Aikman and all of our starting QBs. I want my team to win. Was a simple thread. But check it out.

I was looking at his rushing stats 2016 till injury in 2020 he was running between 275 and 350 yards a year. Most was likely planned or option. Not a lot of yards. He isn’t a huge running QB anyways, but after his injury in 2020 when he played in 5 games he was up to 93 yards.

After the injury it of course dropped to 146 yards in 16 games. He wasn’t healed up yet. And he may have gotten injured again. Didn’t he get hurt in the OT win against the pats.

Last year he only played in 12 or 11 and some of 12th one. But had 186 yards in 12 games.

So it looks like he is healed up and they maybe adding that element back in slowly. Nobody is expecting a lamar jackson.

Keep it up!!!

The second you back off of this, I win.

And the more you keep hyping Dak, the more I win.

This is gold. You're mine now.

Yep...that is all. I'm not saying he didn't contribute or had a bad game. I will take this over 9ers in a heartbeat!

Now...if the score was say 9-3....no biggie. But 40-0 without a qb scoring line...is...interesting!

I'd also expect him to "do more" against the Jets. Run....but run smart. Couple extra yards isn;t worth it. Just adding that little bit of uncertainty will give d some pause.
Wow. I wish you would have started this thread.. Lol.

Dak was never the most fluid runner but he’s lost at least one or two steps since that ankle injury. He looked much better running the ball early in his career. He looks like he’s trotting when he runs these days. His mobility isn’t what it was.
