Dak doubters

They all seem to be quiet today. I guess they are starting to sense that their "its all about wins" excuse is slowly fading into the dust.

It was just one game out of 17, right? I have no problem admitting Dak had a good game on Monday, but it was just 1 game and it wasn't totally perfect. He didn't win the game single-handedly, it was a team effort. What I want to see is consistency - lets follow up 1 good game with 3, 6, or 10 more. Lets have a good game against an opponent that isn't a total garbage fire. Lets carry the good games into the post season and make some serious noise.

You Dak homies want to see opinions and attitudes change? Thats where you start.

One of the real reasons why Cowboys fans are hated is the constant propping of player x, y, or z into elite categories after a good performance in the 3rd game of the season. Its the constant 'Dallas wins the NFC East easily' comments after the first game of 6 against an NFC East foe.

If Dallas is still spanking opponents after week 11 or 12, that would be the point to start looking at a deep playoff run or propping your QB up into the MVP stratosphere.

He not a top 5 QB. In fact I have him at #14 and #15 if Deshaun Watson come back.

How can he be a top 5 QB when these following QBs are better than him? Mahomes, Jackson, Herbert, Allen, Rodgers, Brady, Watson, Wilson, Stafford, Murray, Carr, and there is an argument for Cousins, Mayfield, and Tannehill over him?

Lol. Just....lol.

Lol. Just....lol.

Care to refute? Cousins has 8 TD and 0 picks in three games so far. His team is failing him. Tannehill had a huge comeback against the Seahawks. Only real argument is Mayfield.

Oh wait you think he better than the other QB's I listed?

Just 3 games into the season where the running game has been front and center in 2 of those games and all the noise boxes are pronouncing Dak as elite and a Top 5 QB....after missing 2/3rd's of 2020 with an injury. While he is playing well, how about wait until the season is further along before sizing him for his HoF jacket.

I agree, Dak has looked great this season, but he still has things he needs to work on , as does everyone. if you are satisfied, you are getting worse.

he has to get rid of the ball or run in a timely manner when in the end zone, you cannot take a sack. he has to KNOE every single play and not hand off to a phantom runner. Tom Brady would not allow himself to do that without being angry at himself and neither should Dak.
Agree . Dak has looked much much better this season and has had a great 3 games . He still has ball placement and timing issues as per the examples mentioned. Hope he keeps improving as the season progresses .

i am giving him props while also pointing out he got sloppy with he ball and had soem brain farts..why can i not do that?? get over yourselves Dak had some flaws tonight we overcame the SEVEN POINTS he handed philly..the fumbled snap and 2 ghost handoffs..

just say clean it up cant be dog that if you want to make the *Ship

are you blind , purposely saying those weren't issues?

I mean we are allowed to be critical of Cwill and Biadsz but not dak? come on this is place to debate games not dissing dak pointing out he had some odd issues was sloppy at times..

Dak has been incredible this year. Incredible. BUT I agree with you. Dak would be the first one to tell you that he needs to clean those things up. I don't see that as some serious criticism. Ask Dak today and he would tell you that he can't make those mistakes.

I did enjoy the play where Zeke was 4 feet to the left of Dak and he thought he was in the backfield.

I'm glad you were able to get some joy out of that game. We absolutely curb stomped the Eagles. That had to be embarrassing for you. Your team rolled over and exposed their soft under belly by the middle of the second quarter. They looked defeated, and you knew they were gonna be manhandled all night.

I'll be honest with you, I don't follow Miss St. and didn't know squat about any "incident". All I know is the man has trouble hitting a receiver in stride. Has ALWAYS had trouble hitting said receiver in stride. Has FOREVER had problems putting the ball in the proper place on the predominate number of passing plays. Oh he's good at the short slants, it's the other passes that are the problems. Look at the TD pass to the WIDE OPEN pretty much uncovered Schultz in the first qtr. That pass was totally underthrown and why? I didn't see the entire game (for reasons) but looking at the highlights even the long pass to Lamb looks like a bad one. It looks as if Lamb completely destroys the coverage and if the ball is thrown properly ie. further towards the back pylon away from the receiver Lamb catches that on the run for a TD easy peasy instead of having to make a jump catch in traffic.

Anyway, that has always been my only beef with Dak. He and other "athletic" QBs. They work in the NCAA, not in the NFL, not long term. Calling Dak a better passing Tebow is not really a complement. It's like saying that's is a pretty pig. It's still a pig.

Hey Dak IS working in the NFL and has been working for several years now.

I think “athletic QBs” might be a problem for you.

How that isn't called a TD is beyond me. These guys make it so much harder than it has to be. I dont care about the angle, the damn ball was a foot across the goal line.
You can’t tell that from the angle. Look I think it was a TD too. The problem for the officials is that the ball was completely lost on the sideline views and if I’m a ref and I don’t see the ball, then I’m not signaling a TD, which means the default decision is “No TD” with the assumption that a review is likely, at which point we will suss it out. Well, the only angle you could see the ball was from overhead, and that angle leaves too much doubt IMO to overturn the call. I would bet most of us were not feeling good about the call being overturned after seeing the overhead angle was not only our best evidence, but our only evidence.

This is the reason why no one take Cowboys fans seriously. There is not a GM in this league that would take Dak Prescott over Josh Allen. Josh Allen is an MVP candidate, and at no point in Dak's career, was he ever consider as an mvp candidate. Hell even Jared Goff and Carson Wentz were considered MVP candidate at one point in their respective career.

I'm starting to think that most of y'all don't even watch other football games outside of just the Cowboys. I don't care about stats because I watch with my eyes. Even before the start of the Chargers game, everyone was saying Dak is better than Herbert but I couldn't help but roll my eyes. Herbert prove to be a tier above Dak in that game and had two touchdowns called off due to his team making stupid penalty. If those two touchdown was not called off, the Chargers blow out the Cowboys.

Dak has a stack team and couldn't even beat the Bucs after the Bucs had multiple turnovers. The Bucs defense currently is bottom 5 worst defense in the league and Dak couldn't even beat them. Look at what Stafford did to that defense, that what a real elite top 5 QB look like.

Dak is lucky we play in the worst division in the league for 2 or 3 years straight. Otherwise we would only win about 2 games if we played in the NFC west these last 2 to 3 years.

I bet Dak is an MVP candidate right now. You have zero proof that not one GM would take Dak over Allen. Prove me wrong. And Dak couldn't beat the Bucs? If you watched that game and thought THE LOSS WAS ON Dak, you saw what you wanted to see, not what happened. Dak was incredible. Part of the reason the Bucs defense is rated so low is because of what our offense did to them. If you would take Stafford over Dak, I am grateful you are not our GM. Your eyes are obviously far more fallible than the stats. The stats are backed up by the scorebox. Further, if you want to nitpick bad calls, you have to do them all. We win the game against the Chargers in a blow out if the refs would have called half of the holding penalties against Parsons alone.

If you look at where his feet are in relation to the goal line and then work your way up his torso to his arms extended its obvious. Clearly I'm bias, but that looks pretty conclusive to me. His feet are almost at the line, no doubt the ball in his outstretched arms crossed the plain.

Edit, hell it looks like his toes are across. I can't see a way his arms didn't make it.

Is there another team that has so many polarized opinions on one of it's players.

Who gives a flying.... whether he's elite or not, or whether he's to blame or whether it's due to us only spending $140m on the Offense or whether the Defense are to blame, or Garrett, Nolan, MM.

BOTH sides bang on about their position and are so entrenched.

So sensitive about any for of critique or praise.

Who cares, so long as we're scoring and winning?

exactly that all im saying,

yet saying it has dak super fans all over me calling me a hater...the dude had soem serious brain farts in this game nut we aren't allowed to bring them up yet MM is being called moron for his TO clock management..

odd the hypocrisy here call superbowl winning coach a moron but cant point out the actual factual in writing issues dak had within the game..

that's making excuses people....

i mean if i can point out daks mistakes you cant constantly stat hate post on Zeke, jaylon, lve, lc, ac, dlaw . and oh Greg the leg and many others..i mean soem of the unwarranted posts started daily on coach and player hate and i cant point out some truly obvious issues dak had in games this year?

right, get off my sack people or ill ignore you,

my list is getting to be record level, i bet..:muttley::laugh::thumbup:

The one view that showed his arms extending the ball was the one to me that showed he had the td. In the others, yes his body was across but how are the refs to know where the ball is in relation to his body if they can't see it? The ball could have got knocked down between Dak's knees, or he could have had his arms pushed down, etc. The ball wasn't visible.

That to me is why they called it no touchdown. Don't agree, but at least it didn't ultimately matter, and who knows? Maybe the refs will make up for it in another game...
