I've never seen a game where dak completely dogged it and the coaches didn't have a hand in it.

Coaching just fine!!!
Lol, ok. I never said coaching was just fine but I do think JG deserves this season and they have put Dak in several positions to succeed throwing the ball and he blew it. Not saying it’s not correctable, just concerning.

Yeah ya did!

Like I said, I've never seen a game where Dak struggled and the coaching was grade A.

Considering all the criticism that they got to account for that failure, they'd be moronic to still be oblivious to it.

And from what I've heard and seen, Dak has slimmed down. So I hope they dont plan on having anymore games like that Atlanta game because the kid will end up in the ICU.

Lol, c’mon man, you know what I meant. For clarification, I meant there were several games/times/plays where the coaching was just fine and he still screwed up. It can’t all be blamed on coaching.

Yeah and it all cant be blamed on Dak lol.

I'd really like you to inform me of a game where what you are saying was the case.

I watched every cowboys game last year televised and Sunday ticket and the decently coached games I've seen was won and dak did well.

Can you point out the ones where it was the opposite?

Any time Dak had an open receiver and missed him. Any time Dak under threw a long ball. Any time Dak had an open receiver and didn’t see him. Any time Dak threw an ill advised pass that resulted in an interception and the coaches didn’t force him to make those throws and the coaches didn’t tell him to look at one receiver only.

I suggest you rewatch the games, go find them yourself. There’s 16 to choose from.

we will once again look horrible on offense with our run run run and dink and dunk passes that are very short
Dak always has one of the better YPA in the league.

So I have no clue what "we will once again" means when it hasn't been true at all.

!you cant find a game because the games where the cowboys had good coaching and still lost doesn't exist.

You clearly reached in your paragraph in desperation and it doesn't prove your point at all.

You, me and everyone else knows that whatever flaw dak showed in each game the coaches followed it up with stupid playcalling and lack of adjustment within the four QTR's.

You are the one that should bring the proof to me since you claimed it happen, and everyone on this forum knows the cowboys wernt fortunate enough to have good coaching when the player struggled.

How many times have we already heard the excuse “Dak was never the same after Atlanta, how could any QB recover from a game like that”. Really? REALLY? Give me a break.

Don’t even get me started on Romo, he’s just as responsible for his non Super Bowl as the coaching was.

ROFLMAO... well... when you get drafted to an NFL team, you expect to not get hit don't you? Like you, I seriously doubt that one game had anything to do with what all went down this season. But, it definitely gets used as the example of the whole season enough.

I was a huge fan of Romo though, and I felt many of those 8-8 seasons would have been more like 3-13 without him. But, in the same regard... he made some mistakes that cost him. I don't count things like fumbling the ball on a snap for a kick as one of them... The starting QB should have never been holding the snap anyway. That is just stupid in so many ways, it isn't even funny. I also don't count the Denver loss on him, because the defense did nothing that game... That was an amazing offensive game. But, he has definitely had his stupid moments.

Frankly, in my opinion he was better then Aikman, and better then Staubach... If anything he and Staubach are long lost relatives, by the escape artist acts they performed. But, Aikman was smarter then him when it came to trying to live to fight another day, and trying to stay on the field... but, he still missed a lot of games.

I hope Dak can amaze us with his transformation this off season. I hope he can still overcome the odds, when the situation isn't perfect. I have my doubts, but...we shall see. The 3rd year as the starter, if he stays on the field, will tell us everything we need to know. If it was Romo that made that big of a difference in Dak's play, then Jerry should have opened the checkbook, and he should have replaced Linehan. Although, I am with the people, that feel... the underneath passes were taken away, and game over. So I guess we will see if he has adapted. I will give him credit on some of the OTA throws I saw him making, while not under duress. But, I want to see some longer throws to see if those throwing mechanics changed.

I am am still of the opinion, Dak is a great person, but not the franchise QB we are looking for. But, I will say I was wrong if he ends up showing that he is. Like I have said... I don't want to play musical QBs.

So if he is the one... Great! But, if he isn't the one this season, let's make that change before it takes us another 23 years to reach the promised land.

Not on anyone's side here... But, you really can't throw a highlight film together of the failures. You can... but it will be disregarded as an agenda.

"You can make any highlight reel match your agenda. "

That is what will be said...

There are videos on YouTube that shows him missing open receivers plenty of times, and not going through all of his reads. But, again...

"You can make any highlight reel match your agenda. "

Which in reality is true... I mean I am sure I could put something together that makes Brees, Brady, Rodgers all look like crap.

Opinions are opinions... you really can't change someone's opinion of Dak. No one has been able to change mine. But, I am open to him succeeding if it is his destiny. But, I still hold this season as his defining moment. No matter if Zeke is out, and a OT is missing or not. Now if the defense gives up a billion points, I know you won't normally overcome horrendous defensive play (Romo in the Denver game).

Lol, you’re a joke dude. You’re so far out of touch with reality it’s not even worth arguing with you. Go find someone else to take the bait, I’m done biting.

Doesnt it seem like he has been taking up space for 5 years! He should of been fired after the Atlanta game!!!

Why do fans love to over-react and say dumb stuff?

If Green gets cut it won't be because of the Atlanta game.

Atlanta was 1 game. He played well in 2 starts at LT in 2016.

If he gets cut it will likely be due to his inability to stay healthy.

If he stays healthy for all of training camp, he'll probably make the team.
