Do you really have to ask how they 'missed' it? That guy on the end line has to see that, even if he's not looking he's going to see the collision peripherally. He chose to ignore it IMO.

Now I can see 3 officials in that picture alone, two of them appear to be looking elsewhere. But the guy on the goal line was looking in the right direction to see it if he chose to.

There was a cheerleader with a near costume malfunction that took priority.

What an amazing finish this would have been. Beasley was open immediately and it would have been a pitch and catch score. Worst case scenario Beasley is caught around the 10 and we win on fg.

# 41 had beas, and let him go, and then you can see the safety I guess running with him, and if Dak threw to Beas,
that guy could close on bease and get there when the ball does, so he looks open but he isnt.
It would depend on where the ball was thrown.

Dak appeared to look at him then come off and zero in on witten who is more dependable at making the catch.

as soon as dak stepped up in the pocket the safety moved, he had beasley all the way.

Well I imagine dak was told to go short, they get out of bounds and set up the fg try.
They may even have said go to witten.

I got the impression dak was mainly looking to go to the guy who was the first read.
I think he is trying to hard to please the coaches ?

If they say throw short get out of bounds, and he throws that to beasely, and then it is overthrown or B drops it, or the safety
comes over and takes it from B, then how would the coaches look at what dak did ??
They wouldnt like it, and he knows it.
If however it is a TD then they might like it or let it slide that he didnt do as told.

See Romo can not do as he is told and get away with it, no one will say much if anything to him, and he was like starter no matter what.
But Dak and Sanchez, they have to do what the coaches say.

So Beasley dropping a sure fire TD is because of bad play calling?

Do you think you put the proper amount of thought into that post?

Sorry, I guess I should have posted 2 separate thoughts/points in two separate posts since obviously you can't figure that out on your own.

Here goes: 1. Beasley drops TD pass at 5...1st missed opportunity...his fault.

2. Crappy playcalling, ALONG WITH THE DROPPED PASS(#1 above...but a separate point), that could have resulted in enough point to beat the Gnats in the 3 trips to the red zone in the first half.

Now here's the kicker for you...IF IF IF either one of the two points above had happened, this thread would not matter because we would have scored and not been in the situation where Dak HAD to hit an open Dez or Beasley on the last play(the point of this thread).

Lol. You crafted a poorly worded post and want to blame others when your (possibly) intended message got muddled, through your own lack of diligence.

2014 last play before the half vs NYG. Very similar play, slight difference but Beasley in the same left slot is left alone, 3 players crash down on witten. Romo is under pressure and climbs the pocket. As he is loading up to heave it to Beasley for what would have been a half ending hail mary for six JPP reaches out and strips him.

I think it was a mix of doing what your told, and having not really developed good chemistry with Beas throughout the game. He seems to throw high on Beasley for obvious reasons. Happened several times. He needs to learn the size difference there. That will take time.

Dang. NYG played it almost identically. Aw well. Dak will get there with more experience.
