He hasn’t been mobile since 2016. People wanted to make him something he’s not because he looked like other mobile running backs but he was never that guy. He was a passer who could run.
Yeah, and the guy can't do either as his tire needs air, and his hand has a ring on his throwing hand...it's just down hill from now.

Can we finally end any discussions of PaPa Prescott's athleticism as a running threat?

He has 25 yards rushing this year. He runs like he's 50 years old.
He's never been a runner...doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that.

I talked about this in another thread yesterday.

What made Dak so good was his ability to extend plays / drives with his legs. Granted he was no Lamar but who is. We then make him the highest paid QB when one of his greatest strengths is almost none existent since his injury. It drives me crazy that he refuses to step up in the pocket and run. Numerous video breakdowns mention he needs to step up into the pocket as there is massive chunk yardage available. Think the one Warner broke down showed Dak had 20+ yards in front of him but he circled back around and took a meaningless sack.

Joe Flacco & Rodgers . Tonight I learn this and in another thread I learn tourists are roaming the halls of Cowboy practice facility like it’s Mall
Of America . What next Jerry trades a number 4 for Will Levis ?

Dak Prescott has never been a running threat. Rushing yards is the technically correct term but scrambling for yards or something similar would be more accurate.

Prescott used to be a scrambling threat. He would take off when the defense took away his receivers at the beginning of his career.

The ankle injury may have made him more tentative in taking whatever running room the defense gives him but would it be enough of an excuse? All quarterbacks can scramble. Even the immobile kind like Drew Bledsoe. Doing so is an in-the-moment decision. Why has that aspect of Prescott's game changed?

Although nothing should surprise me . Someone had a thread in here touting Brian DaBoll as the Cowboys next OC . The Giants offense stinking up the Meadowlands so let’s ring that to Dallas .

Detroits NT Alim McNeill chased down so fast last game. Sadly, Dak didn't even attempt to elude the big man.

The OP statement could mean a couple of different things, right?

How many times have Rodgers & Flacco been sacked?

And how many rushing yards does Goff have this year? Would you trade his team's record for ours?

The injury in 2020 pretty much put an end to him as a real running threat. He’s still having problems with that ankle. He was wearing a boot prior to training camp because it gets sore. When he does run he looks like he’s trotting.
That could be yeah.

His rushing numbers in college were big time, and I recall him extending many drives with his feet in his rookie year in the NFL.

Then someone decided he ought to be a pocket passer. That produced meh results, but then the injury was a real setback.

Jerry found it easier/better to pay him 400 million afterward than to find a replacement.

I dunno, maybe they are “saving him” like they are his RB buddy.

My favorite Dak highlight is his 42 yard run that ended deep in opponent territory where he stiff armed/punched Josh Norman and took his manhood. This was against a team that no longer exists. (Tells you how long ago it was.)
