One of the reasons Trey Lance is here. Can we finally end any discussions of PaPa Prescott's athleticism as a running threat?
He has 25 yards rushing this year. He runs like he's 50 years old.
Why wouldn't they be? Sincere question. This is a new low.....now Dak's rushing yards are under scrutiny. SMH.
I don't know how many times I yelled at the tv for Dak to run, then he stands there and gets Sacked...
Normally this could end an athlete's career. Instead....most money ever. The injury in 2020 pretty much put an end to him as a real running threat. He’s still having problems with that ankle. He was wearing a boot prior to training camp because it gets sore. When he does run he looks like he’s trotting.
This...is what keeps 'hommes valuable. He makes the right plays at the right time. Doesn't have to be all the time.I dont need him running often, but the guy really is a statue out there. Which would be fine if he was Manning, but he's not.
He has averaged 255.8 yards per season (on 55.6 carries). This year he is on pace for 71 yards on 26 carries. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that is dramatically lower either. He's never been a runner...doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that.
It's a nit-pick critique.....if you want valid criticisms, look at film without tunnel vision. Look at the masses. You'll find more concerning issues than Dak running. That's all. Are we asking the QB to become a rushing leader to go with our 37th ranked RB1? Simply look at the offensive breakdowns, baffling rotations, and predictability that are available via several social media outlets. Right now, from a 2-cent coordinator at home named Me.......take Cee Dee out with coverage or physicality, pressure the pocket, laugh at our run blocking, and watch formations.........you will have an immediate advantage against our team. And of late, we have a redzone interception play that we keep calling, executed by Dak and now Cooper too.he used to be able to make plays with his feet and now he either cannot or will not
its a valid criticism
He is washed up. Next. The injury in 2020 pretty much put an end to him as a real running threat. He’s still having problems with that ankle. He was wearing a boot prior to training camp because it gets sore. When he does run he looks like he’s trotting.
That's ok he'll throw for 400 and 4 TDs against WAS, NY, CINCY and CAR and we'll all get hyped again.....same thing every year.......HERE WE GOOOOOOOO!!!!!Can we finally end any discussions of PaPa Prescott's athleticism as a running threat?

He's no threat to a defense in any manner, I've seen QB over the years older than him that can at least run, hell just look at some of the QB our defense faced that when the rush was there, they were at least able to avoid the rushCan we finally end any discussions of PaPa Prescott's athleticism as a running threat?

Oh my gosh!!!!!!!! Handicaps the offense wow, yes it does!!!!What I’ve noticed for a while now, ever since his feet were pointed north/south his mobility, speed and desire to run has diminished dramatically. He’s getting paid the highest contract in the NFL so I have no pity sorry, not sorry. Notice all the top QBs now HAVE to be able to run. Even if it’s to buy more time to throw. This really handicaps the offense.
Why run a bootleg with a slow qb....that's on McCarthy's play calling. No bootlegs, QB runs, fakes..etc.
He could probably get 6-8 yds on some of those plays.
Its stalemate right now. Somehow he thinks he's still good offense play caller.
Post of the morning lolThat's ok he'll throw for 400 and 4 TDs against WAS, NY, CINCY and CAR and we'll all get hyped again.....same thing every year.......HERE WE GOOOOOOOO!!!!!
So he's averaged 15 yards a game...like I said, he's never been a runner. Especially, now with a history of ankle injuries. He has averaged 255.8 yards per season (on 55.6 carries). This year he is on pace for 71 yards on 26 carries. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that is dramatically lower either.
Whatever the reason (play calling, the line, or him), something is different this year and he is not using his legs the way he used to, even if he wasn't a "runner" before. Not criticizing him, just an observation.
Yeah, but he's got another good 5 years in him, according to Jerry. Can we finally end any discussions of PaPa Prescott's athleticism as a running threat?
