....that's on McCarthy's play calling. No bootlegs, QB runs, fakes..etc.

He could probably get 6-8 yds on some of those plays.

Its stalemate right now. Somehow he thinks he's still good offense play caller.
It's the coach's fault for not calling more running plays for a QB who is as slow as a glacier? What?

It's a nit-pick critique.....if you want valid criticisms, look at film without tunnel vision. Look at the masses. You'll find more concerning issues than Dak running. That's all. Are we asking the QB to become a rushing leader to go with our 37th ranked RB1? Simply look at the offensive breakdowns, baffling rotations, and predictability that are available via several social media outlets. Right now, from a 2-cent coordinator at home named Me.......take Cee Dee out with coverage or physicality, pressure the pocket, laugh at our run blocking, and watch formations.........you will have an immediate advantage against our team. And of late, we have a redzone interception play that we keep calling, executed by Dak and now Cooper too.

Just maybe, if the OL could look good a time or two, we might see some worthy offense from many. Now if I saw good OL play, you might have me on this. We've already heard practices have been bad......again and coming off a bye. That's the funny part about this predictable, limited, and stale offense. Don't get me started on the defensive side.

Now can we ask some more people to make plays, in their positions on offense too......to help? Just asking.
Just because someone picked this topic doesn't mean they don't recognize "other issues".

Pick a topic and discuss. If you want to do "other issues"....then make the threads.

I was thinking about this the other day. Dak is slow now, really slow. He gets caught from behind by defensive tackles. He can't run, and they don't design plays for him to run much anymore. I was wondering how much Dak works on improving or regaining what speed he had before the injury. I am sure he had some muscle damage but I think with hard work he can improve his speed and quickness. Does he put in the work? Does he have a "speed coach"? or have they just decided to let it go since he is over 30 now?

So he's averaged 15 yards a game...like I said, he's never been a runner. Especially, now with a history of ankle injuries.
Correct, but his average this year is less than 1/3rd of that, meaning he is using that ability even less than before. Now there isn't even the slightest threat he is going to take off. He has literally become Bledsoe (1.5 attempts per game this season - last in the NFL for a starting QB).

Add that to the RB issues right now, and we have absolutely nothing running-wise to worry defenses. The Defensive line doesn't have to hold lanes, or an edge when they rush because he isn't showing them any sense of wanting to take off with the ball. Our O-line is having issues, for sure, but this is not helping that situation at all, the rushers can come at him any way, shape, or form that want. Again, not blaming just Dak, there are many possible reasons for this happening, but it is happening.

Just sayin.....some of the threads are like Andy Griffith reruns. That's all. No need to make threads, not a requirement on this board.

So?

Jared Goff - 17
Justin Herbert - 34
Jordan Love - 29

People who think Dak's legs are the problem are really, really stupid.

No it's not a requirement. But when you complain that surely there must be more important subject matter...I suggest making those threads so you get to talk about what YOU think is more important.

Can we finally end any discussions of PaPa Prescott's athleticism as a running threat?

He has 25 yards rushing this year. He runs like he's 50 years old.
the cowboys are 32nd in rushing...114 yards behind the 31st place team....dowdle is 37th....meaning he is behind some back up running backs and QBs in rushing....Zeke is 58th.....
let that sink in first.

SteveTheCowboy.....there's no complaints. There's merely comments that we're all afforded to post on the board. Nothing more, and we don't have to agree or respond or create threads. That's the real beauty.
As for important subject matter......I'd go with interesting or attractive subject matter. All good. I'm hopeful my 2 cents posts are just as valuable as yours, and the like, in kind.

Dak is like is like a new car that got a flat tire. It has 468,078 miles, and the oil is starting to leak.
And the car is just getting older the more you hope it will turn the corner.

It's still a good car...but it is not the car Jerry bought.

Trade him to a team that needs a backup CAR. Flat tire and all.
No trade clause. Try again.

There is currently no strong aspect to Dak's game. He's been a bottom third QB this year in nearly every category.

Dak has never been a very athletic QB (comparatively to other NFL QBs). He’s had slow feet, an average release and not had good pocket presence. His first few years in the league he had a top 3 RB and a top 5 line. He also has always been a strong and tough runner. So, that’s why the first few years defenses had to respond that threat. His injury left him not wanting to run. And his running game got worse. So now he’s left with defenses not having to respect that he might run (albeit slowly). And he still has slow feet, is fairly immobile and and has shoddy pocket presence. So, I think it’s a fallacy that he was ever quick, fast or mobile. He just has gotten older and slower feet
