Sorry brother, but I have to disagree. He was making the point that no matter what the FO does, someone's going to rip on them as if they made the biggest, stupidest mistake possible. People go way overboard with their opinions because they're too emotional. Disagreeing is one thing, but the reactions here can be borderline insane.
LoL only recently joined the internet? Last time the FO did something great very few people even had internet. Yes, that was the 90s. :D:rolleyes:

All that matters at the end of the day is the bank account. I'm sure Stephen will insult OBJ with a ridiculous offer. This ain't 1995..

He needs to reach out to the current receiver room and explain why he thinks we need OBJ.

I don't like this at all.

Sends the wrong message to the current WRs.

If I were Gallup, I'd be irked.
I dont know about that - Gallup has 19 receptions for 211 yards and a TD for the season - cant really be mad if they want to bring in an upgrade.

Fraudo reached out to him. Did Fraudo stand up/reach out for Cooper, the main reason for his $40mill a year contract?

Why? Gallup doesn’t care. He got paid. Lol. And Beckham being here makes his job easier. They are millionaires. Y’all need to stop caring about their “feelings” football is a “wins” business. Not a “worry about offending people” business.

You're missing the point, I see.

Right over your head.

Lol, if they don't sign him they are cheap, if they do sign him they over payed. We see it here 24/7 whatever they do, they are wrong. They are just terrible at management even though they have built this very good team and are set up to be good in the future.

This one kind of gives me a chuckle too. Like, all the old, angry Cowboys fans have rubbed off on the generation of fans who never witnessed a Super Bowl.

And they're harping on an 80-year-old man who is actually doing a damn good job for his age, and trolling him like it will somehow influence him to do what they want. Because, you know, we have social media nowadays.

I know better than anyone that the bully pulpit is available to anyone who knows how to send the right message. But I also know how futile the attempts to convince Jerry to sell the Cowboys to appease them.

It's hypocritical, because they harp on Jerry's ego. But then, their egos tell them that what they say about Jerry actually matters. I mean, I'm laughing at that right now even.

I don't know that, he got along great with Rams player and was not an issue, Von Miller been doing some recruiting as well for OBJ. I would not do it if he is looking for big money but in terms of being a problem I think OBJ has matured somewhat

Happens to the best of us, bro. :)

On the flip side, what if Dallas doesn’t do it and loses narrowly in round 1. “Well this is okay because at least we didn’t irk Gallup.”

If it helps the team, it helps the team

I'm not talking about the team recruiting him.

I"m talking about Dak "reaching out" because it signals to his teammates that they aren't good enough to win.

It's cool if the team does it, the FO is the one who signs the checks. But Dak "reaching out" says that not only does he not believe he can do it with his current players, it also says he doubts his own ability to get it done with the current players.

The last time the Team did something great was then?
Individual moves can be observed in their own universe.

Tyron was not a great pick?
Frederick at the end of the 1st before his fluke affliction?
Zack?
That was something the FO did.
Parsons?
Getting a low-level 4th round QB that ended up playing way over everyone's heads is something.
Getting an undrafted QB from a nowhere school to have a near Hall of Fame career is pretty cool stuff.
There are more.

Super Bowls?
No.
Great stuff that did happen?
Yes.

I guess it all depends on how much you decide to enjoy the game and team you follow.

Seems like the concept of different people having different opinions isn't familiar to you. Do you really expect all fans to think the same thing? Of course some will diss the FO whatever they do. That's the most normal thing.

So whatever you were trying to say with this post, it's nonsense.
I think that the fans that say this kind of thing are the ones that are full of nonsense.

That's good way to alienate the receivers who are already here

If Gallup is upset that the team is trying to get better he needs to toughen up. He has MILLIONS of reasons to be happy
Gallup is not upset at all. It's some fans. Gallup has actually tweeted and voiced his support on video for OBJ to join the Cowboys.
