Past QB’s in the nfl rarely, if ever, played a bad team or D. Everyone of the teams in the past were really close to the 85 bears D mixed with the Steel curtain.

In 2016 bad teams and D’s popped up around the league for the first time. It is a shame.

I respectfully disagree. When the salary cap came into effect in 1994, it was supposed to level the playing field and be a dynasty killer, but instead it produced the Pats dynasty. BTW, Brady played his entire career in a BAD division - Bills, Jets, & Dolphins while the NFC East has only been bad for the past 4-ish years.

The salary cap had one unexpected effect: It allowed fans to see which franchises were dysfunctional, some more than others and because of this we have seen a lot of bad teams since 1994. Even worse, it seems the number of bad teams continues to rise esp the past five years as we also see a smaller number of great teams.

I watched the 85 bears and there has not been anything close to them ever since due to the salary cap impact and the evolving rules that further hamstring NFL defenses. Romo faced plenty of bad teams.

It was much further than then. This became a passing league in the 2000's.....it didn't just happen 5 years ago lol

…….true and the backup who never started a single game came in with this offense and threw for 325 yards and 2 TDs……he might have broken some qb records too if he didn’t play Minnesota and was able to play 6 games against NFC East scrub teams
Yeah. Because that team Romo was in in 2007 wasn’t stacked on offense lol.

first time in the nfl,

dak 4k
zeke 1k
lamb 1k
Diggs 10 ints
Parsons 12 sacks

all missed at least one game or more so stop the its a 17-game nonsense.

You can't stop that its a 17 game season thing, because then you would have to start padding other players saying that while they missed some games because of injury they may have played an extra game. And then there is playing someone's backups in the last game using your starters. Also you have to factor in that it is a much easier NFC East this year to prop your stats up.

I think you missed the sarcasm.

It's a QB league now isn't it. Over the past 6 years or so defenders can no longer put in proper hits on QBs without fearing a 15 yard penalty and likely internal fine. Corners can't track receivers too tightly without worrying about pass interference for minimal contact. Look at the stats Cousins has put up at the Vikings over the past 4 years.

I was in favour of Prescott and all the starters playing the first half vs the Eagles. You can't really blame them going for the records after the first half even if a bit hollow given the state of the opposition.

But in reality they won't be playing back ups/guys off the practice squad in the play offs so the serious stuff starts next week.

Is Cedric Wilson that good or was it more a case of him balling out against scrubs?

Dak’s not perfect, and has had some bad games.

So let’s get rid of him and then draft a QB in the first round who has a 60% chance or being an outright bust and only a 20% chance of being as good as Dak.

People who want to get rid of Dak never have a plan in mind.....its just "Anything is better than Dak" approach and wing it lol.

There's no get out now for a while given his contract and no trade clause.
