That was a bizarre comment from him. A few game mean his whole season wasn’t good. I don’t know what’s going on on this site.
 
I just hope he has his best playoff year ........ because that is where he falls apart.

He is a very good regular season QB ......... I just do not expect him to take the next step or improve in the playoffs at year 10.

Hopefully he proves me and a lot of other people wrong.

He played pretty good. I did take some pause about TOP, red zone scoring, and excessive FGs.

Another concern I had is a bit more..ambiguous. Probably more interesting (to me) than any kind of factual assessment.

In the last game Joe and Dak played equal amounts of time. Almost the same attempts, completions and yards. Dak had a lost fumble Joe had two ints- close to a wash (as far as JUST the turnover stat- not the consequences). Joe did tack on the 50 yards rushing on 5 carries as well as a TD pass.

In this very small sample...the two QB's performed equally...perhaps a slight edge to Joe for TD pass and 50 ground yards. I get that some (many?) will dismiss these stats as "meaningless" given the circumstances. But I think it COULD be trying to tell us something.

"Ridiculous"? hmmm...maybe! Willing to bet we'll never find out. Not if Dak stays healthy.

I thought I caveated the SHIP out of my comment...but...if someone is unwilling to even CONSIDER talking about it....well...I'd rather you not dignify it either. So at the very least we agree on THAT.

Instead of saying "steve...my lad...here's why that's an unforced error on your part"...you just cancel it out not speak of it.
