Dak Injury (at the game)

To be clear (which I think I already was), I didn’t say I thought Dak’s injury was fake. I just relayed what I saw while I was at the game. When a guy gets injured, especially badly enough where the team is considering putting him on IR, the player isn’t typically standing with his helmet on and his cleats nearly touching the sideline.

Today in this thread we have unfounded drug addiction accusations, fake injuries, etc.

+1.....I understand why he hasn't won over some critics but some posters have become so personal and childish that it hard to tell if they are grown men. Some literally can't start a post without throwing a dart at Dak. Just to be clear, it's not all his critics, the vast majority aren't much different from other posters, just 3-5 that are obsessed with any and/or everything about Dak. It's either black or white, with no middle ground. You hate that but ........

Rush looked like a lost dog on the field….just can’t play QB without a competent OL, only one legit WR threat, and no run game, I don’t care who the QB is.

Yet his stats were identical to Dak's and he played far less than Dak did.

You really need to come up with a better excuse for Dak's poor play this season.

It struck me odd to see a video of Prescott walking off the field after the game and he had zero limp. If you pull a hamstring, or as he said, "I heard something...", you don't walk off the field without something being noticeable. Just seemed odd to me.

Those comments are not what makes the place unfun. It's attacking people in a personal manner that sucks. The "come back when you learn football" and "find a different team"...and "your life must suck" kinda stuff.

Just stop. Cooper Rush is NOT better than Dak. If he were, he would be starting for at least one of the remaining 31 teams. Now, it's possible he could play a game or two and be as good as or even better than Dak, but there's a reason he's been a career backup. It's not unusual for a backup to replace a starter and overachieve short-term. I know many have issues with Dak's performance, contract, and 100 other things but don't yourself into Cooper Rush being something he's not.

Sidenote.........I don't expect to see Lance unless Cooper plays poorly and/or we lose the next couple of games. Starting Lance would send a message that 2025 is officially in play........not sure they are ready to admit we have no chance at the postseason.

Rush competed ~50% of his passes after the Falcons were no longer concerned with losing the game. Under less pressure and with receivers that were getting more separation, he was terrible. Not sure what you were watching.

It’s disappointing after three 12 win seasons. Complain about the playoffs all you want, but ya gotta get there first. Dak is quite capable of doing that

Dak can beat bad teams. Dak losses to good teams. So yeah, it's all about success in the playoffs when talking about the Cowboys and just getting there isn't the goal.
