Never said, everyone .........because it's not.
Well you didn't quote anyone...plus I don't see any significant statement. But there you are telling....someone....to stop.

I've seen a few comments the offense LOOKS better, or certain specific traits might look better. So I don't get it. Sorry.

Dak can beat bad teams. Dak losses to good teams. So yeah, it's all about success in the playoffs when talking about the Cowboys and just getting there isn't the goal.
Shows you how far we've fallen and how much cheese has been consumed.

Can you imagine, tom/roger or jimmy/Troy saying such things?

I was at the game and watched Rush walk onto the field and thought, ‘What happened?’ My brother was watching on TV and texted that they were looking at Dak’s hand, then something showed up on a screen in-stadium that read ‘hamstring’. At that moment, Dak was on the sideline, helmet on, standing there like he was ready to return to the game. He stood there the entire offensive series, and after we got the ball back on the next series, I could no longer find him on the sideline.

My first thought when Rush was in and Dak looked ready to go was, ‘Maybe they want to see what Rush can do since we’re playing so poorly’. Rush looked like a lost dog on the field….just can’t play QB without a competent OL, only one legit WR threat, and no run game, I don’t care who the QB is.

I’m not a conspiracy guy, but it crossed my mind that we might use an ‘injured’ Dak to bail on the season, get the draft pick, and not look like we’re tanking. We can’t fix the run game this year and Rico def isn’t the answer to any question. I like him, but he’s no RB1. If healthy, the defense just needs a little weight on the interior line, but the offense needs serious OL, WR, and RB help.

Idk…. It’s disappointing after three 12 win seasons. Complain about the playoffs all you want, but ya gotta get there first. Dak is quite capable of doing that, but not under these conditions, most notably the complete absence of a run game

I was at the game too sitting right behind the cowboys bench
It was clear Rush was going in after dak left the blue tent (while Atlanta had the ball)
Rush started warming up and players came over to him giving him encouragement
Then during the tv break before he came in Rush was standing next to McCarthy talking to him

Dak had his helmet on yes but there was no confusion on who was playing. Dak was standing on the opposite end from Mcarthy

Dak continued to stand with his helmet on the rest of the game

I didn’t think Rush looked as bad as you are saying

You can clearly see when Dak hurts his hamstring. McCarthy is fighting for his NFL career, he’s not agreeing to a tank like that. If Jerry decides he wants to tank, he will fire MM and demand Lance take over.

And on TV Rush looked much more in control of things than Dak did. Dak took 3 sacks against the worst pass rush in the NFL because he stares at the rush and doesn’t keep his eyes downfield. Then he has to scramble and find the check down usually with an errant pass. The only TD drive with Dak in there was all running, while Rush’s 82 yard drive was all him slinging it around. Something happened to Dak from last year to this year. His arm looks shot and just overall physically it’s like he’s aged 10 years. He looks like Brady in Tom’s last year but without the ability to read the coverage.
his passes were way off. now he's coming off the bench so you can expect that, but let's not overstate his performance.

that said, i want to see him next week

They showed the play where Dak was injured on TV last night. You can see he throws a sideline pass and his leg clearly buckles a little bit. It is a weird non-contact injury, but you can see Dak grimace in pain.

I admit I have never seen a QB injure his hamstring throwing a football, but Dak's motion looked off. His legs did not move like you would expect a QB's legs to move when he step into a throw. Very odd non-contact injury. But Dak talked about his poor footwork this year. I wonder if he has another injury and he was compensating for it. I am speculating, but his throwing motion looks off. And apparently it is not just a tweak if he is going to be out for weeks. I am also thinking about his floating passes with little or no zip on them. He looked a little weak last year but nowhere near as bad as this season.

I have no idea what Dak does to get in shape for the season, but he looks slow when he runs and now he pulls a hammy just throwing the football. Maybe he need to work on his lower body a little more in the offseason.

Years ago, this forum was a pretty nice place to visit, chill out, chat and talk some football.

These days, it is just different. Constant bickering, insults, childish respsonses, and you have to be labeled a Dak hater or Dak lover....

Today in this thread we have unfounded drug addiction accusations, fake injuries, etc.
It’s sick man. It’s bad enough when your favorite team loses but then you have to read this other crap?

I saw the same thing. He was off balance on that throw and for really no reason. His mechanics and footwork are jacked, and that was very evident on that throw.

I'm sorry to hear about your hostage situation. Can't believe they are torturing you like this.
You are right on that accord. I own up to that I probably shouldn’t be here on that I agree with you. I don’t associate myself with trash like this in real life I shouldn’t do it on this forum either.

Believe what you want but put Rush's’ football IQ into Dak’s brain…..we would have an elite QB.
Well, he still wouldn't be physically talented so not elite but able to play the game with some sense of anticipation & feel.

Yeah but somehow it's addicting and hard to break habits I said I wasn't coming on here for at least three or four days like literally wait till almost 24 hours before the next game and then not read all the garbage but you know what somehow I'm in here trying to defend our quarterback defend certain players are being picked on and what not and try to put some actual reason no hyperbole no exaggerations no drama actually come up with some actual valid reasons not excuses why the team stopped performing well and somehow it just keeps circling back handful of players that get picked on because they got contracts it gets old I mean I do feel like I get along better with some eagles fans this place is gone straight up cowboy hate and they're gonna say yeah but we're just speaking the truth no you're not if you think the quarterbacks the issue here what the hell have you been watching?

Dak isn't a "stop the bleeding" type of QB.

If our opponents are playing well you can't depend on Dak to step it up and get the momentum on our side.

He is the most front running QB in history.

If the Cowboys go down by double digits at any point during the past 9 seasons it's 95% of the time a loss.

Yah you do. You're as big a part of the problem as anyone else. I'd go as far as to say you're among the very best at it. Your gaslighting and deflection skills are sneakily elite. Which is exactly why you "surround yourself with people like us". The internet is the perfect place for people like you to get your fix.

I would absolutely love to talk to you in person.

Naw you wouldn’t love talk to me in person. I’m not a sheep I stand on my own regardless if it’s a popular or unpopular opinion. You look for the next guy to tag along to his opinion. I’m also not negative person so yeah naw you couldn’t be around me.

Gaslighting and deflection….i wish you guys would retire those words….

It struck me odd to see a video of Prescott walking off the field after the game and he had zero limp. If you pull a hamstring, or as he said, "I heard something...", you don't walk off the field without something being noticeable. Just seemed odd to me.
