Dak is good but has an average arm

When an offense doesn't play a single snap in preseason they are almost always behind. This offense, especially the O-Line, needs time to jel. Also have to factor in ceedee missing all of TC.

I'm not rating them until we have a big enough sample size

Define great and define okay ..... he did what was needed. He played great, though his stats were not great like some want.
He managed the game well (no not driving the bus) did what he needed to do. Had some downfield accuracy on passing. Found the open receivers. Did not turn the ball over.

To me that is a great game, helped lead the team to a victory.

first of all, no one was expecting a great game, game 1 MOST called for a LOSS, we were underdogs, Dak got us UP IE A LEAD set the tone, no T/OS but game 1 with no Preseason games , Lamb not in camp 2 rookies on the OL , terrible Run game right? wasn't that the 32 ranking and all the posts saying so?? historically bad run game was the talk around here??

I mean outdoors on grass against a top D , but isn't that the narrative around here that we struggle in those games?? WE WON always room for improvement.

so what all QBS have 17 great games if they have 40-60mil paydays LMAO.. sure that possible, only when the haters say that they expect perfection every game LMAO!! haters still hating.

Again, I don’t hate Dak. I like the player and I like what I know about the man. But he hasn’t played up to his previous contract and it’s historically unlikely he will play up to his new contract.

Yes, that was a very good defense the Cowboys defeated yesterday. But, from my seat, it was hugely due to the play of the Dallas defense which provided Dak with a bunch of short fields.

Individually, Dak made a couple of big throws while also missing several open looks and throwing dirtballs or sailing on easy shots. In, short - Dak was incredibly mediocre amd not what I’d expect from a $60 MM per year player. Go figure.
