There isn’t anything to do about that. We have to build the Offensive Line. I think so many teams need to build their lines there will be a run there.
Dak needs more then we’re providing . Maybe a better QB could get the job done but does it matter.
He's had a better oline than most other QBs for the majority of his career.
How many all pros on his line does he need ???

So it's Zeke's fault because he's washed,it's the wrs faults because they aren't fast enough, it's the oc fault because he can't scheme, andddddd it's the oline fault because they don't have 5 all pros.

No, it's daks fault. He's paid like a SUPERSTAR but he's already a damaged QB who is hesitant, innacurate(partly because he lacks arm strength, partly because of injuries) and now he's scared to hurt the other team with his legs because of his recent injuries.

Sure we can win games with him. Sure he'll look good in some and put up nice numbers, but he doesn't have the talent to lead this team to anything meaningful.

We will never win a SB with #4

In the history of the franchise the Cowboys have won Super Bowls with only two different QBs. The Cowboys have had other QBs they could win a Super Bowl with but the teams haven’t been good enough. That’s the reality of it. If some of you want to pin it all on the QB go ahead. I don’t believe there’s a QB in the entire league that can win a Super Bowl with this current team and coaching. It’s not as simple as just change the QB and presto! Dak played lights out against Tampa in the season opener and we still lost. The problems with this team are deeper than you’re seeing.

It’s unfortunate but Dak is probably the “best” QB we’re going to have in a while. Especially with his contract tying him to Dallas for the foreseeable future.

I know people love to hate Dak for some reason, but they never seem to understand we’d be stuck with Mark Sanchez level talent without him.

Who can we get, exactly? Unlikely to snag Rodgers or Wilson, even if Dak’s contract wasn’t a thing.

Only other option to is draft a QB round 1 and PRAY they’re not a bust, even though most are.

Dak will likely never reach the level of Mahomes or any of the other so-called "elite" QBs. His consistency just hasn't proven reliable vs. the better teams of the NFL. I've learned to content myself with being "entertained" with being a Cowboys' fan, rather than expecting Super Bowl quality of play. The Cowboys' FO isn't one that holds promise of producing that level of play. They have proven as much over the last 25 years and holding. Just content yourself with being entertained and you'll likely be happier with the level of fandom that doing so allows. It may not be heaven, but it won't be hell, either! ;)

It doesn’t matter if its Dak’s fault. That’s not the point. The game is going to be played and we can not cut Dak. He is ours. For three more years, Dak is your QB unless you become a fan to another team.

So what do we do? Trade him,cut him, bench him?
Any of the above. You gotta start from the ground up at QB. For the old timers on here, 5-12 is the same as 12-5 if you don’t advance in the playoffs. You get the same ole, same ole with Dak. You can’t fix him. Kinda like the FO with this organization. Except mediocrity and move on. Nothing is changing in JJ’s world.

"Dak is here to stay." UNTIL HE ISN'T. Nothing is in stone in the NFL. This league is called "NOT FOR LONG" for a reason. It is a what have u done lately game. Status Quo gets guys fired and traded. etc. I promise you, if we see a QB that is outstanding just sitting there unexpectedly after round 1 this year, we just might take him.MM is known for this in Green Bay.

Or we can just recognize he’s a sunk cost, draft a real Qb and bench him and have him revoke his no trade clause and send him somewhere else for a couple of draft picks.

It didn’t stop this franchise from benching Romo, because they didn’t want to pay him when they thought they had a cheaper QB that could get the job done with the roster.

Dak is Jason Garrett 2.0.
He has the same mentality and the same lack of leadership that Garrett showed.
And now the Cowboys have had that lack of leadership for 15 year.

Plus they are both considered great at their jobs for some other strange reasons that have nothing to do with actual performance while being carried by others.

We haven't come close to a Super Bowl with the other 20+ QBs who have started a game for the Cowboys over the last 25 years, either.

Seems like there's a bigger underlying problem.

at least for the next 2 years.....and yes, we need to rebuild the OL, not just for Dak, but to help the running game....

and to your point, we have what we have. we can have 98000 threads complaining and pointing to flaws, 1873309 ways it doesn't change anything. we have to figure out how to put the best competitive team out there and it starts with OL
