Where is the popcorn emoji?
Where is the popcorn emoji?
Tony Romo doesn't have a Super Bowl ring. And Nick Foles does. I put Nick Foles and Trent Dilfer categoryFoles had one great run in his life, thats it. Otherwise he has been suspect.
Personally , I take Dak every day all day, but I know I will get flack from the haters. Hard to argue a SB ring.
All the stats say he is way better
The bigger deal, by far, is the 50 million guaranteed.Foles gets $88 mill over 4 years (22 mill year). Thats your Dak contract.
Jeffrey's was good for Nick Foles. He's a lollipop passer. Kind of like Cooper Rush. He was just put in a great situationThe thing about Foles is the Rams and Chiefs had him in as a backup after his first Philly stint and he was ready to retire when the Eagles called him to hold the clipboard again.
And if Carson Wentz didn't get hurt Foles' magic postseason run of 2017 never happens.
Maybe the Jaguars just made a monumental mistake; who knows? He won't have the weapons around him he had with the Eagles, I know that much.
Are you really going to put Tony Romo and Nick Foles in the same sentence. Or even in the same category come on even Trent Dilfer won a Superbowl Nick Foles LMAO how many games have you actually watched him play other than maybe a playoff game. I've watched his entire career I've watched every Eagles game he's played in. He's a joke interception machineWhat did all those stats get Romo?
Foles is a SB winning QB. Fact.

I love getting Jason Witten back another End Zone threat. I think people forget we lost our starting tight end wide receiver and Center at the beginning of the seasonZach Ertz being open 100 percent of the time helps any QB, too.
If anyone has truly watched Nick Foles play throughout his career with the Eagles you cannot possibly choose him over Prescott.Fair analysis. There's no question you can't consider Foles' Super Bowl win equal to the typical Super Bowl winning QB. He took over a team with a stranglehold on homefield advantage in December.
However, I do think he's proven two things. 1) He can produce if you have the right system around him and 2) He can win in the playoffs.
I would just love to have him in Dallas this year. But the onus on the coaching staff. We know this guy can do it if he's put in the right position. It's on you to put him in that position. He'd have enough weapons in Dallas. It's a different situation than Jacksonville.
What really helped the Eagles was Darren Sproles special teams they always had a short field. I think he was the Superstar of that teamZach Ertz being open 100 percent of the time helps any QB, too.

You guys sure are good at nitpicking reasons for Foles success but seem flabbergasted when told that Dak’s fluke season is a result of being the only QB in NFL history to have 3 first team All-Pro OL and a first team All-Pro RB on the same team. What really helped the Eagles was Darren Sproles special teams they always had a short field. I think he was the Superstar of that team
Foles has been able to win without that stud RB. His completion percentage in the Playoffs was 70 percent. He took the eagles road and beat the Rams twice and he went into Chicago and that was one of the best defenses in the league. He beats good teams without a stud RB or stud WR. He does have one of the best TEs though. It's not really remotely factual to say Foles out-gunned Brady. Brady was the better QB that game. 505 yards compared to 387. But, okay, what do yards mean? So how about 10+ yards per attempt compared to only 8. Or a clean 3-to-0 TD to INT ratio compared to a 3-to-1. Or a 115 passer rating compared to 106.
He didn't out-gun Brady in any sense of the term. But even if you hadn't lied about that career-highlight night.... the rest of his career stats still tell a different story about him.
Foles has a career passer rating 8 points lower than Dak's. And in the most recent season, Dak's regular season and postseason passer ratings were better. Foles posted a passer rating of 70.6 in the playoffs this year. Yikes.
The stats don't lie. Nick is flat-out simultaneously worse and older than Dak. So of course his contract figure has nothing to do with what a better, younger guy is going to receive.
This thread's premise is wrong and dumb.
Foles better than the hapless Dilfer. LOL But yah, its close.Tony Romo doesn't have a Super Bowl ring. And Nick Foles does. I put Nick Foles and Trent Dilfer category
That is so true! What did all those stats get Romo?

Biggest baby on the planetit should be but the owner has been gassing this jag up for 2 years now. also he probably gets another $20M for his "intangibles" and another $20M just because it's the Cowboys.
I mean, Foles isn't really an interception machine, necessarily. A 68-to-33 TD to INT ratio in his career is fine enough that it's unfair to call him an interception machine.Nick Foles is an interception machine he proved it in this year's playoffs
