and I just said that says a lot about someone to think praise for a single player is the post of someone's career of a Cowboys fan, especially for a non hall of famer.I mean that’s his opinion though…..
I'm not sure why fans have such disrespect for McNabb. He played for the Eagles, I get that but there was a time he and Andy Reid owned the NFC. Yet fans tend to trash him every chance they get ............crazyMaybe 2016 Dak but 2024 Dak is nothing like McNabb lol.
See post 404........Do you think Hurts can match that?Dak is a lesser Donovan McNabb, a very good regular season QB that invariably comes up small in the end. McNabb at least won playoffs games but the end result is still the same. Some guys just have “the clutch” and others don’t. McNabb didn’t have it, Dak doesn’t have it. Ultimately you can win a ton of games with those guys so you keep them around but they aren’t carrying a team in crunch time.
More assumptions from the Church of Dak crowd. Always with him it's "if only he had x." If what he needs around him to win isYou'd take Hurts over McNabb? LMAO
And Dak is superior to McNabb. If Dak had Andy Reid, he could damn well overtake a weak early 00s QB class and get to the Super Bowl, just not sure he beats Brady.
Dak rises above the pack in this weak QB class too. He's like Allen and Jackson, two epitomes of regular season QBs who hasn't done anything in the playoffs.
You need to understand that the folks bashing McNabb are doing so with the motivation of defending Dak. How else do you defend him? How do you defend that first half against GB? And it isn't like that half was a one off. He has routinely put on that kind of a performance against better teams. They keep screaming about defense, run game etc. Yet the defense last year was cobbled together after losing key players - but notice that there is no excuse for those guys because we need to throw anyone under the bus to excuse Dak once again crapping the bed. The year before last we saw the defense hold the 49-ers to under 20 points and we still lost. So you can hardly claim that it was always the defense. The common thread in all these losses is Dak Prescotts horrific play at key moments. And here's the thing - it wasn't even a situation where he needed to step up his game, his only job was to take care of the ball and to not turn it over. Can't do it. So once again we are headed into a season where we have potentially the weakest team in Dak's tenure.I'm not sure why fans have such disrespect for McNabb. He played for the Eagles, I get that but there was a time he and Andy Reid owned the NFC. Yet fans tend to trash him every chance they get ............crazy

I guess lol…seems like you attacked the guy personally just because he shares an opinion of Dak you don’t like…and I just said that says a lot about someone to think praise for a single player is the post of someone's career of a Cowboys fan, especially for a non hall of famer.
Hurts has it. Teams and fans should expect the same.More assumptions from the Church of Dak crowd. Always with him it's "if only he had x." If what he needs around him to win is
1. A potent run game
2. The best Offensive Line in the league
3. Pro-bowl caliber receivers and TE's
4. The best defense in the league
5. Great coach
All of this he needs while being made the highest paid player in the league.
I don’t get it either. Most of the hate comes from Philly fans. I don’t get it and never will. They booed him first day he was drafted so maybe it’s the fans who never liked him to begin with. Just like how people hated Dak after he took Romos job….I'm not sure why fans have such disrespect for McNabb. He played for the Eagles, I get that but there was a time he and Andy Reid owned the NFC. Yet fans tend to trash him every chance they get ............crazy

You mean Dak is a poor man's McNabb? Yeah, because McNabb and Dak are comparable in the regular season but Dak's even worse in the playoffs than McNabb. Try to keep up.He called him a poor man’s Dak wth are you talking about? Learn to comprehend by attempting to see through your Dak hate cloud that befuddled your mind…..let’s keep it football no personal attacks….
It is not Dak, It is the trash players Jerry signed to help him!Can he look any more frightened come playoff time? It’s a disturbing trend at this point.
No, he's not he's just the most recent but again I just told you about the others, I don't care if you call that cheap, they were solid role players that they traded for... You can call it an outlier because you're trying to make your narrative fit and it does not they will make a trade if they need to as recent as last year... Don't say it's an outlier when it's not normal for teams to do that constantly and actually works out....I'm cherry picking? Cooper is the only example. He's the outlier. Anything else the Cowboys do is usually for players that are cheap and well past their prime.
Now I have comprehension issues lol….or maybe you just are very good at defending your stance? You verbatim said they are the same but they are different lol. Just arguing to argue lol. You’ve got some problematic reading comprehension issues.
don't really care who's "guy" he is, he's not done the job and has consistently choked in big games. when someone does something enough times, it becomes who they are.Let's observe what occurred in 2022 vs San Fran.
Yes, Dak threw a costly 2nd interception and that sucked (and I was even about to give up on him at that moment) but then so did Mahomes in the Super Bowl. And got stopped on 4th and inches from his own 10.
On those 2 drives almost looking surely like SF could've blew the game open....KC defense allows 0 points.
Cowboys defense played well overall vs SF but Mahomes and Dak had basically the same game against SF outside of the final OT drive. It was against the same team too. This should tell you everyone struggles against SAN Francisco at this critical moment of the season.
The issue was more on SFs only TD drive, things fell apart on that drive. Defense overall played well, but we had ultimate selfish me-me Diggs letting that INT fall right thru his breadbasket - and his nonchalant, non self chastising attitude afterwards like he doesnt care as long as hes paid. He could've knocked the Kittle catch loose, but he didn't even try. Why not get a McDuffie or Snead who are cheaper, better coached, and make critical plays at critical times? If you let SF have 2 extra opportunities, you get exactly what you deserved.
Fastforward 2023. Vs Green Bay at 14-0 fine. But the 3rd TD should've been stopped. Gilmore looked like he didn't know who he was supposed to cover on that 3rd TD given up. That should've been 3 instead of 7...you don't give up plays that easily. Bland gave up some dumb routes. Bell hasnt looked the same since the Buffalo game, like the wind got knocked out of his sails. Clark is just an average LB and you can't roll into the playoffs with such paltry linebackers. I get it Overshown and Vander Esch were injured, but where was the healthy Parsons? A step short and a 2nd late. Would anyone still take Parsons over Chris Jones? Everytime I open a Parsons thread here before January, people say Parsons is better. You watched the 2 Super Bowls vs San Fran and the Championship game against the Bengals.....and you'd still take Parsons??? Lol.
The defense did not improve in the 2nd half. So yes, I blame very little of Green Bay on Dak. The defense was never gonna stop sucking in order for an comeback to materialize.
In '22 you can blame a lot of it on Dak and I agree he needed one more drive and that didnt happen, but overall hes still a Top 3 QB in the league. I'm taking him over everyone except Mahomes and Burrow. Lots of sites have him in the Top 3. Certainly Top 5 based on last year. Why should I not believe what I see? Why should I not trust official publications? Why should I listen to loudmouth fans instead?
lolNow I have comprehension issues lol….or maybe you just are very good at defending your stance? You verbatim said they are the same but they are different lol. Just arguing to argue lol.
That's not true Danny white had an upside down touchdown interception ratio in the playoffs pretty close to even in the regular season he wasn't that good he was picked up by a team the team choked along with Prescott they did not bring a strong run game they did not have a physical offensive line did not have a great defense they have nothing in these games we're losing we're losing as a team it's not who he is it is a fact that there's a lot of moving pieces in the NFL it only takes a couple to ruin the game not doing their jobs like 14 penalties...don't really care who's "guy" he is, he's not done the job and has consistently choked in big games. when someone does something enough times, it becomes who they are.
No, not just now. For a while now.Now I have comprehension issues lol….or maybe you just are very good at defending your stance? You verbatim said they are the same but they are different lol. Just arguing to argue lol.
…..I was told this by Steve the Cowboy Lover…who else has said this? Since I’ve been told this on a daily basis….i can’t help ya’ll are intimidated by someone you will never see in person…..take it up with your savior….lol
You're literally being told this on a daily basis by multiple people.
Keep that marathon going though. I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets a good chuckle from your very entertaining rationalizations.
Exactly but they still lost the game it's hard to dig yourself out of a hole but it is it is absolutely probable to win a game like that we could just take this away from the Cowboys and just look at how different the 49ers and Cowboys games were we saw the Cowboys and the 49ers first half both teams looked bad looked like they were going to lose and somehow the 49ers defense special teams and coaching staff found a way in the second-half to give their offense a chance to catch up and figure it out... they did, they came back from the same deficit and won the game what did our defense do they started the second-half with three straight touchdowns they gave up 21 points right out of half, how was this team ever supposed to even make a comeback when the team just decided to not even stand up and support their offense. Yes the O struggled, who struggled first?Reminds me of the '94 Cowboys. Down 21-0 early. They never gave up. No quit in that team. We saw what happened with our current crew under the same situation.
