No QB really had a historically standout year, and Lamar plays for the best team. That's good enough for an MVP IMO.

Speaking of historical standout, that Ravens defense isn't getting the attention it deserves. They finished the season #1 in sacks, #1 in turnovers, and #1 in PPG allowed. No defense has ever done all 3 before.

Gakking up the losses cost Dak any shot at MVP. Jackson is going to win and it won't be close. Fact is Dak and the Cowboys were generally not good when they played against good teams, Jackson had a tougher schedule and played very well against some of the same teams that beat Dallas. Humiliated Miami, crushed SF, didn't lose at AZ, and made light work of Detroit.

Why does that make you happy? It doesn't matter where you fall on the fence for or against Dak being our QB, but you should not want more cap dollars going to one individual player. Dak over Dallas fans are the worst...
That will be a benefit when Dak finally does leave, Dak over Dallas fans will go with him.

Part of being MVP is being a media darling IMO. I’m shocked that a Dallas Cowboy has ever been league MVP. It has only happened once.

That's cute.

Every QB struggled at times this season. How did Dak do in Arizona without 3 of his OL again?

The 49ers were 4-4 when Purdy took over last season
, but somehow Shanahan's a wizard who can dominate with ANY QB.

I'm sorry that your Purdy takes have proven to be dead wrong. He finished #1 in QBR again, just like he was last year after he took over.

If you're going to refute something you need to use facts not your faulty memory. Purdy took over in game #13. The 49ers were 8-4 and already on a 5 game win streak before he got the reigns. Also his QBR last season was 67.5 which would have been good for 5th last season but he did not play enough to qualify.

Care to try again?

Dak would've been the MVP easily if he didn't fail so hard against Arizona, San Fran, and the Bills. If Dak plays those games like the first Eagles game (even if we lose) he probably STILL is easily MVP.

While Lamar ended the season putting on a clinic against San Fran (at San Fran) and against the Dolphins.

It's more than just stats.
Yup, it’s how he looked…like he can beat any team, can just get it done.
We lack that look against SF.

Not gonna lie, you got me.

Purdy's still damn good though.
