Dak is the only QB drafted in the past 3 years to win a playoff game

If Dak didn’t throw a horrible pass to a wide open Brown which caused him to slow down into the PB it wouldn’t have been an INT..

That doesn’t matter. We are talking about PI’s. It was PI. The defender even admitted it.

The throw being behind the receiver doesn’t change that fact.

So your argument about being bailed out by PI’s is trash.

So one was caused by Dak throwing a bad pass and another was a bang bang play that shouldn’t have been called.. so Dak is a game manager than..

And if they call the legit PI against the LB the previous drive. The Int doesnf count and the cowboys likely score a TD having first and goal from the 1. And still would have had a 10 point lead.

The penalties pretty much evened out down the stretch.

The non pi was much more egregious a call than the actual pi being a ticky tack call. You see many more of the pi calls like that versus missing obvious ones like in the endzone.

And Dak’s team went 4-12 the year before he was drafted. And saying Romo was hurt doesn’t really change anything because Romo never played another down for the cowboys, except that meaningless drive against the eagles.

So it’s no different than other teams having high draft picks.....
Romo never played another down because the FO decided that Dak played well enough to eschew having him sit and learn.

The team had a horrible record because of the poor play of the backup QBs, and calling the one successful drive in the Eagles game "meaningless", in an effort to hide the fact that Romo did what Dak couldn't doesn't work. We all saw the game.

Of course they don't. But the ones who need a QB usually do, and this thread is about QBs drafted in the past 3 years.

KC had a QB and a good team. They went 12-4 the year before yet they still picked Mahommes by trading up.
Where the QB is picked doesn't mean the team that picked him is bad or good.

Your point has no logic behind it.

The cowboys were some highly talented squad that only went 4-12 because Romo was hurt.

Yet, Romo never played again. And instead Dak goes 13-3 the next year.

That’s the point. The cowboys were a bad team the prior year. You can’t use the Romo reason when the next season they go 13-3 without Romo playing a meaningful snap.

Therefore the insinuation that the cowboys roster was somehow better than other teams that draft high, doesn’t really fly. Not without actually comparing rosters.

It’s also not really accurate to try and say Dak has had a better roster compared to the others drafted with him.

The eagles won a super bowl without wentz.

We all know how talented the rams team is.

So the argument itself is moot from the start. Goff and wentz aren’t playing on bad teams.

The chiefs and Texans also made the playoffs with different QB’a before drafting their guys.

So again there is no basis in fact that Dak somehow made it into a significantly better team than others drafted in the relatively same time span.

His career completion percentage in Dallas over 2 seasons there was 65.4% compared to daks 66.1%. It was higher than romos but lower than daks.

Stop spreading fake news.
Since you love to rag on Romo, (which is nauseating by the way, and damn near makes me not want to root for Dak, so as not to be associated with your drivel). This is where Romo was in December, just prior to Dak. http://static.nfl.com/static/content/public/photo/2014/12/23/0ap3000000448700.jpg

I get it now.

The cowboys had Schrodinger’s roster.

So bad that even the highly elite and amazing Romo couldn’t win anything with them.

While simultaneously being so good that once Dak took over, they were the best roster ever for a rookie QB who did nothing for the squad to win 13 games.

Schrodinger’s football team.

Not always, but look what happens when a good team trades up for one. KC had a bye week heading into the playoffs.
